Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jeremy Batiste. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jeremy, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
I’ve had a couple instances in my life where I’ve been between a rock and a hard place – and people stepped up to the place to show me how the universe is always aspiring for your growth and development with love in the strangest places – I had a near stranger bail my car out of tow yard and paid $1000s in fees for me – I’ve had someone pay off all my back taxes from the IRS / I have had people give me a place to stay when I had no where to go. These moments have always been trying to show me that there is a reason to keep pushing with whatever it is that you burn for …. And that when we focus on service to others and pay things forward – the rewards are often greater than we realize when we are selfless in our pursuits

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’ve spent over 20 years in working in multiple industries including health and fitness. I had a career focused on transforming peoples lives through physical fitness and chose to switch to behavior change and coaching as I believe it all starts in the mind. With coaching I provide the personal empowerment individuals and businesses/teams need in order to break through to new levels in their journeys in any sector of live or objective. What sets me apart is rigorous honesty especially focusing on those needing recovery from hopelessness, addiction, and deprecation.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Most of my journey I’ve operated from a place of needing to control situations and outcomes – especially anything revolving around business. That often time turns into resentments and roadblocks in unforeseen ways almost every time – when I learned to listen my grip on the need for things to turn out how I expect – it opens up an entirely different energy of how to work and open up more possibilities

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
There are many great books that have added to my journey in business and relationships namely Emotional intelligence by Daniel Goleman
Becoming Supernatural by Dr Joe Dispenza
The body keeps the score by Bessel Von der kolk
The coaching habit by Michael Sayley
