Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jeremiah Woodard. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, Jeremiah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?

The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me was compliment my work and having someone tell me that I’ve inspired to even want to get into photography. To me personally, that really says a lot and it shows that all it takes is one person to brighten your day, to never give up and keep moving forward

Jeremiah, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Jeremiah Woodard. I am a freelance photographer from Fort Worth, Texas and currently residing in North Richland Hills, Texas. What I love most about photography is the freedom that I have to express myself and introduce myself to the people who don’t know who I am through my photography. I truly do love what I do and I want people to see that through my work. The things that I am most proud of is that I finally have a website to showcase my work and the people who took a look at the website. It makes me feel like people truly do care about my work and that really means a lot to me.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Connections. Lots of connections. I have a lot of friends who are into the creative scene, such as music, art, photography, etc. and they have introduced to a lot of people and had it not been for them trying to put my name out there, I’d probably never have came this far in all honesty.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.

One main thing, why do we do it? I do what I do because I genuinely love doing it. It gives me a sense of peace, it feels like there’s no one else, just me and my camera. I always tell people, if there is something that you truly feel passionate about, just do it. Take that leap. You never know what doors may open for you.
