Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jeremiah Woodard. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jeremiah, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
One thing my parents did right is instill a really good work ethic within myself, while also trying to maintain my sanity and treating others the way I would want to be treated. My dad has his own barbershop, he has such a close connection with his clients and that’s how I strive to be. I always make sure my clients are always comfortable and most importantly, have a good time.

Jeremiah, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those who don’t know me, my name is Jeremiah Woodard. I am a photographer from Fort Worth, Texas currently residing in North Richland Hills, Texas. As of now, I do freelance photography. I love all aspects of photography, but I enjoy nature photography the most. As a kid, I’ve always loved the sight of different landscapes and animals. It brings peace, makes me realize there are things in this world that have yet to be discovered. I started getting in to photography when I was in high school, I think it was my sophmore year. My brother, Tommy is my main inspiration to get in to it. As a photographer, I feel that it is important to make your clients feel as comfortable as possible. As much as I like to have fun during my shoots, I take my work very seriously. One of the things I’m most proud of are some recent shoots I did for my cousins graduation and my godmothers birthday, I was pretty surprised when they asked me and I made sure I got the best shots possible. What I want people to know about me is I am passionate at what I do, I’m always out shooting somewhere.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
As artists, we should support and encourage each other. I’m always scrolling on Instagram and seeing all these different artists show off their work and they’d be dope. A lot of the times, I’ll message them and tell them how good their work is and they should keep going. Also, giving them tips on how they can make their work better.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me personally, it’s when other photographers around the world tell you how good your work is. I’ve had that happen to me a lot and it makes me realize that people are always watching. Just keep putting yourself out there. My friend Justin, who also does photography, told me that I was his inpsiration to get in to photgraphy. He even messaged me one day and said that he’s been striving to be better than me. It was both flattering and hilarious at the same time haha. In all seriousness though, it was pretty dope that he said that to me.
