We were lucky to catch up with Jeremiah Stlouis recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jeremiah, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
So far the most meaningful project I’ve worked on was a song called “Hemorrhage”. It was a collaboration with a friend in Canada. It really came together quite quickly and overall is one of the strongest examples of where I want my project to be. Droxus and I came together on a whim and worked really well together. Definitely one of the best releases by far. On top of that the label we released on has a huge audience. All and all a great experience.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
So, I’m a bass music producer / DJ. I make a sub-genre of Dubstep called Tearout. Almost like heavy metal EDM. I was born and raised in South Florida. I started working on music in 2023 and DJing at the end of 2022. I do it for fun and just enjoy the energy that EDM holds. With EDM being so easy to understand and get into it’s a fairly straightforward process to make and play. The following I’ve curated comes from mostly my personality. I love meeting people after I perform and love interacting with the people who enjoy my music. So it’s been a fairy easy process building my little community.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect would easily be the reaction to my music live. Seeing people genuinely enjoying the night because of something I’ve made is almost unmatched. Having a whole crowd head-banging or moshing to something I’ve made is surreal.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Be yourself. 100% people feed off the energy you create. So stay genuine and stay true to your goals. I’ve met so many artists that we’re not what I thought and it’s almost jarring. I try really hard to use my influence to speak on things that actually matter such as men’s mental health. It’s hard to find people who push something bigger than themselves.
