We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jeremiah Jacques. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jeremiah below.
Jeremiah, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My story derives from a very ugly place. A place that was supposed to be my home but on most days never felt like one. A place where I never truly felt safe expressing my beauty/artistry openly.
Instead, for years I practiced & honed my talents so that one day I’d have the confidence to stand in my self-love in spite of all those who wanted me to change myself to be more like everyone else.
In turn, my mission is meaningful to me because it empowers me to continue fighting for my authentic voice, individuality, & expression. Rebelling against the systems in power that dare strip away the power from me & others like me, just because we’re different/unique!
I truly believe that if we want true freedom in this world we have to continue to fight for it & show up in ways that force people to open their eyes and brake free from their own limitations.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Jeremiah Jacques, also known as @jmdelore across all social media platforms! I got into the beauty industry at 16 years of age in a small town called Saint Cloud Florida.
I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY & I’ve bin an artist from the very beginning! I fell in love with drawing first at the age of 6 & then I discovered my love for painting, then makeup in 2016.
I had revealed a year earlier the truth behind my queer identity & sexual orientation. Unfortunately, it changed everything for the worst & I practiced self-expression through the use of makeup in secret for a while until my mother discovered a YouTube makeup tutorial on my small channel.
She threatened to find all the makeup I used in my room, turn it upside down if she had to, & throw it all away.
I managed to salvage some products by lying & telling her my friend gave it to me. As I grew I never stopped because I knew that I couldn’t be doing something wrong if it felt fulfilling to do. Overtime, I started to see progress & skills develop once I started mixing in my love for art I was able to embrace makeup as a tool for artistic expression. Ever since then, I became extremely empowered to build a career in beauty & inspire people all over the world.
I think what sets me apart is my unique beauty, resilience, calming positive energy! I’ve also keep discovering new skills & talents anytime I try new hobbies/crafts! As a makeup artist, I love solving their skincare problems & helping them shade match themselves in order to create the perfect complexion!
I’m most proud of my growth/evolution not just an artist but as a human. I’m most proud of using what I’ve survived through as fuel to go all the way & become the best version of myself in every degree.
I wan’t my fans/clients to know that I love what I do with a passion & I want to build a legacy empowering/uniting others doing what I love! My work ranges from simple to complex to creative— zero to one-hundred! I want to put more funding into expanding my business moving forward and I’m not stopping until my goals are accomplished!

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
In person connections & forming a friendship with clients!

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes,
Self-expression is self-care is SELF LOVE! No one has the right to take that away from you, so you ignore what the lifeless ones has to say & live your best/ brightest life!
