We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jenniffer Willis Tatyana Sinn. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jenniffer Willis below.
Jenniffer Willis, appreciate you joining us today. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later
We started Well Reserved in 2017, just before having kids, and we experienced a lot of momentum in that first year. It felt like the perfect time—exciting, full of energy, and driven by our passion to create a wellness experience that connected people in meaningful ways. But as we grew our families and careers, it became tougher to prioritize the business. What started as a side hustle had to take a backseat to the demands of life, and for a few years, we couldn’t fully give it the attention it deserved.
It wasn’t until 2024 that we decided to prioritize Well Reserved and put everything we had into making it a full-time venture. Looking back, starting earlier had its advantages—we were driven and ready to make a change. But if we’d pushed harder when we were balancing new families and careers, we might not have been able to give the business the full focus it needed to grow and succeed.
Now, in 2025, we’re seeing a huge trend in social wellness events and gatherings, and the timing feels perfect. The market is finally catching up with what we’ve always believed: fitness is best when it’s social, flexible, and accessible. So, while we’re grateful for the journey and timing, we feel confident that now is exactly when Well Reserved is meant to thrive.

Jenniffer Willis, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
We are Jenniffer and Tatyana, the co-founders of Well Reserved. Our journey into the wellness and fitness space wasn’t exactly conventional, but it was driven by a shared desire to create a more meaningful, accessible, and social way to prioritize health. Both of us were juggling demanding careers and a desire to stay healthy, but we found it nearly impossible to maintain a consistent fitness routine that fit into our busy lives. We felt there had to be a better way to make fitness something we could do together, in a way that didn’t feel like another obligation or solo task.
The idea was simple: make fitness social, fun, and flexible, so people could enjoy it with friends, family, or colleagues without the stress of going to a gym or scheduling around crowded classes. We offer a wide range of fitness options including yoga, HIIT, pilates, strength training, and more, all led by certified instructors who tailor each session to the group’s unique needs and goals. Whether it’s a fun workout with friends, a team-building session for coworkers, or a family-friendly fitness experience, we make sure the session is engaging, motivating, and accessible to all fitness levels.
We help people connect through fitness, creating a sense of community that’s empowering and fun.
What truly sets Well Reserved apart is our focus on the social aspect of fitness. We understand that fitness doesn’t just need to be effective—it also needs to be enjoyable and inclusive. We offer private group workouts that feel more like a social hangout than a traditional workout, and our service is designed to make it as easy as possible for people to prioritize fitness while maintaining a busy lifestyle.
We are most proud of the community we’ve built and the impact we’re making on people’s lives. Seeing clients truly enjoy their workouts, look forward to sessions, and share their experiences with their friends and families is incredibly rewarding.
We want our potential clients and followers to know that Well Reserved is more than just a fitness company—it’s a movement to bring wellness, connection, and joy to every aspect of life. We’re here to make fitness social, flexible, and fun, and to help people feel supported emotionally, mentally, and physically.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
In the early days of Well Reserved, we thought we needed to create a private gym for our friends to work out in. We brought in physical equipment like ellipticals, stationary bikes, weights, and benches, thinking that offering a fully equipped fitness space would be the key to success. The idea was that we’d create a private, on-demand fitness experience, but we quickly ran into the challenges of moving and storing all the equipment between various rental spaces. It became clear that this setup wasn’t sustainable.
So, we pivoted to renting private spaces where people could gather to do virtual sessions together in person. The idea was that people would love the social aspect of working out together, even if the instructor wasn’t physically present. However, we quickly realized that this model wasn’t resonating with most people. Why would they leave the comfort of their homes to attend a virtual session in a rented space when they could easily join the same session from their living rooms?
That’s when we had our next big pivot—Well Reserved evolved into what it is today: a service that delivers private group fitness sessions directly to your home or chosen space, led by a certified instructor. This shift allowed us to focus on convenience, flexibility, and community—everything we had originally envisioned, but without the logistical headaches or limitations. We knew that people wanted a fitness experience that felt like a hangout, but also delivered the structure and expertise of a traditional fitness class. And that’s exactly what we offer now.
Looking back, those early struggles were pivotal in shaping our vision, and we’re proud of how far we’ve come. Each pivot brought us closer to the experience we offer today, one that truly aligns with what our clients want: a fun, social, and flexible way to prioritize wellness.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
We met in college at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where we were both majoring in Fashion Merchandising Management. We were part of the same club, the Merchandising Society, which ran a small campus store called the Style Shop. The shop was a great introduction to what it’s like to run a business, even though we weren’t paid for our work.
At the time, we were buyers and co-managers of the store, and that experience gave us our first taste of entrepreneurship. We had to make decisions about inventory, sales, and even customer interactions. It was an incredible, hands-on learning experience.
We quickly became inseparable, both in and out of class, and our bond grew even stronger after graduation. We shared similar passions and a drive to create something meaningful, but we weren’t quite sure yet what that would be. Fast forward to the early days of Well Reserved, and it was clear that we had the perfect partnership—complementing each other’s strengths and perspectives.
