We were lucky to catch up with Jenniferm Gamble recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenniferm , thanks for joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Success comes from failures. The biggest roadblock is the mental strength to keep going after every single one of those failures. One thing I have always told my friends and family, and especially my children, is you never fail until you quit. Keep going. Sometimes, success is just one step away.

Jenniferm , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am one of the co-owners to Air Frying Foodie, an online site sharing recipes, tips, and tricks on how to easily use the air fryer.
I started air frying foodie with a friend over covid when going out to eat wasn’t an option. It stems from my love and need to create quick and easy recipes that are family friendly. I knew that if this was something I needed, it was something my friends and family needed to. I created this site to help others who were in the same boat, looking for quick and easy things to make for dinner while eating out or fast food wasn’t an option.
One of the things I am most proud of is being featured on the front page of the New York Times and also the opportunity to publish a cookbook. Of air fryer recipes, of course!

Have you ever had to pivot?
After I had my second child, I decided to stay home from work. I had spent the last decade in medical device sales and had traveled all over. I was tired of the constant travel and stress and didn’t want to miss her growing up. With that, I quit my job and became a stay at home mom.
The problem with that is I am Type A and had to have something else to do. This was 2012, and it was the first time I started blogging. I had no idea what I was doing, but I began learning the ins and outs of blogging and photography, and graphic design. There are a lot of things bloggers do that I had no idea, and it was a challenge!

Conversations about M&A are often focused on multibillion dollar transactions – but M&A can be an important part of a small or medium business owner’s journey. We’d love to hear about your experience with selling businesses.
My very first website I created in 2012 is also the very first business I sold. It was a lot of back and forth, as this was my baby I created from scratch and the very first entrance into blogging. I have since started two other sites, and while I have no plans to sell either of those now, I am glad I have had the experience and know what I would and wouldn’t do the next time.
