We were lucky to catch up with Jennifer Sheffield recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jennifer thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My parents, even though divorced, have always put the kids first. They never fought in front of us, they always stayed on the same page when it came to making decisions, and they always, ALWAYS supported our dreams. Teaching us dedication, to never give up, perseverance, and to get back up no matter how many times you’re knocked down.
This has had a huge impact on my business and how I treat others allowing reputation management and referral based business come to me with ease.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a world traveler with a passion for helping people of all cultures accomplishing the American Dream of home ownership. I have always been in the real estate industry since the age of 14 learning building stairs in high-end homes of Alpharetta and Atlanta with my father.
Always asking home owner questions, what they do for a living, showing interest in the homeowners, and learning about their homes and neighborhoods opened up doors of real estate passion. Going graduating college at SPSU, working as a digital Marketing Director for multiple real estate firms both residential and commercial taught me a lot!
I decided, you know what,…I’m going to be my own boss, add value where I see it’s missing, and give to the community/serve the way they deserve. Realtors tend to have a bad rep as there are a lot of bad ones. But, there are also a lot of good ones, and I wanted to move the community in this manner. I call it the white glove experience – Win With Jen
Problems I often solve for clients is finding the right home for them even if I have to call homeowners who aren’t actively selling during low inventory seasons, offering an efficient, educated, and safe experience for what is typically the largest investment in ones life, and making it as stress free as possible through Client Appreciation. I won’t give away all of my secrets as I want to remain different from other realtors, but let’s just say that I’ll do such a great job for you, you’ll refer all of your friends and family to me no questions asked.
Clients want to be educated, directed, and helped with a trusted advisor. The key word is trusted. What value and skills do you bring to the table to truly help them? Negotiation, not adding extra pressure to sell and buy, being on their timeline, giving them a peace of mind.
What i am most proud of is my brand and my following came organically through referral based business of true hard work and care for others. My team and brokerage has a lot to do with it as well. We give back to the community, we help each other, we are all in it to win it with the same goal in mind. Yes, we are competition, but it takes a trusted team to truly care for our clients.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Lessons I had to unlearn… multi-tasking. You are not your best if you are not focused on one thing at a time. Yes, it gets busy, but time blocking is everything to give your all to all.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Pivoting in real estate…this is an ongoing skills. If you aren’t changing with the market, the market will own you. No matter the market, there’s always someone to add value to. Example, the NAR settlement brought a change in how we address compensation more clearly to clients. This has allowed me an opportunity to show my skill and value to others more aggressively, so they know exactly what they are paying for, what exactly to expect from me, and staying in communication with them weekly!
