We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jennifer Jane Young a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jennifer Jane, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I spent most of my early adult years feeling really lost in this world. I was someone who had big feelings, an overflow of creativity, a heart that felt so much and visions that I couldn’t quite understand.
All of who I was never fit into the boxes that I saw most people fitting themselves into, whether that be a program they chose in college, a job or the traditional life path. I couldn’t see myself doing any of that, and when I tried, it felt awful.
For a long time, I struggled with severe anxiety and had this gnawing sense that I was broken. I believed that something was really wrong with me. I kept wondering why I couldn’t follow any of those pre-paved paths, why I couldn’t find a job that I loved and felt fulfilled with, and why I didn’t want what most of my friends wanted.
Life started to make sense to me when I began trusting that little niggle inside of me and taking steps in that direction. When I started to explore the path that I WAS excited about, even though it didn’t make logical sense and no one else around me was taking that path. I began paving my own path which led me to become a Yoga Teacher, a Business & Life Coach, and a United Nations Consultant. Today, I’m an Intuitive Coach & Consultant to other creative, heart-centred entrepreneurs, visionaries and healers who are paving their own unique paths in this world.
This messy, courageous path that I took for myself is one that saved my life in many ways. It helped me find my joy, my purpose and my place in the world. Today, this is my mission for others, to help them find that perfectly aligned path for their soul and purpose. To help them see that everything they envision and desire is possible, if they take one, bold, intuitive step at a time.
We all have a beautiful life path ahead of us, and we get to experience that life when we are brave enough to follow the compass of our intuition.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My entrepreneurial journey began as a Yoga Teacher. I didn’t know I was becoming an entrepreneur. I just knew I was following a path that would lead me to more fulfillment. Knowing that yoga had made such a huge impact in my life, I knew it was a powerful vehicle for me to use to help others who were struggling like I was.
Not long after, I went deeper into my teaching by becoming a Yogatherapist. This led me to work more 1:1 with clients who were struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout or were simply unfulfilled in their lives. This is when I realized how deeply passionate I was about personal growth and helping people see the potential in their lives. Today I like to call myself a nurturer of human potential. When I work with a client, I love helping them see just how beautiful, brilliant and capable they are.
Simultaneously, I fell in love with Business Development. As I was growing my own business, many people in the health and wellness industry around me, began to ask me to support them in the start or growth of their business. This is where my passion for personal growth merged with my passion for business development. We made a baby which is my unique brand today.
Today, I blend all of my expertise into powerful coaching and consulting support that helps heart-centred entrepreneurs, creatives & leaders design aligned, purpose-driven lives + businesses.
I help my clients find clarity on what they truly desire, get unstuck and unlock flow so they can take imperfect, courageous action. I do this through my 1:1 coaching – The Intuitive Incubator, my group coaching community – The Yes Collective and through Strategic Business Consulting when I’m working with organizations.
I am most proud of my book “Say Yes to Your YES: How to Trust Your Gut and Take the Leap”. It is the cumulation of my life experience, my stories of successes and failures and my expertise as a mentor to others trying to find their way in this world. It’s a powerful book meant to inspire people into action, give them hope for their most successful and fulfilling life and unlock clarity for their next steps. The book has become a movement #sayyestoyouryes #myintuitionmademedoit
It is changing so many lives, including my own, each and every day.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe that what helped me build my reputation is my kindness, authenticity and continual desire to create deep, meaningful relationships with people. I don’t do surface level, and when I’m committed, I go all in.
I’m always doing my best to help others around me through intentional connections or by sharing resources I have or have learned that could be supportive. I don’t track my generosity and expect anything in return. I just love to help others and lead them in a direction that will bring them more success.
I don’t hide behind any walls as an entrepreneur, either. I’m out in the world, being human and collaborating on many projects.
I lead with my heart and always try to trust my gut even when it doesn’t make logical sense. This has led me to incredible opportunities over and over again, such as becoming a United Nations Consultant. This has also led others who I have helped to have amazing opportunities. I believe that we build success together. One person’s success will inevitably have a ripple effect on someone else.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
For me, this has always been through referrals. Piggybacking on the last question, my reputation is what grows my business. I tend to build trust with people really quickly and maintain long-term relationships with those I meet, work with or collaborate with. No matter what vehicle I’m using in different moments of my career to deliver my work, those who know me know what kind of transformation and results I can help people achieve or experience, and that is why they refer me.
