We were lucky to catch up with Jennifer Henderson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jennifer thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there an experience or lesson you learned at a previous job that’s benefited your career afterwards?
I’ve had many jobs prior to starting my own real estate business which helped me become more successful. I developed my sales and communication skills as a mortgage broker and then a college professor. I maintain an instinctive understanding of my clients’ needs and goals. My proactive attitude and enthusiasm along with my ability to listen and problem solve, continuously ensure positive results for my clients.
I have been fortunate to combine my passion for people, real estate along with teaching knowledge and negotiating skills to assist my clients with one of the largest decisions they will make in their lifetime; buying or selling a home. Fully embracing the South Bay lifestyle for over 20 years, I am excited to share my knowledge and expertise in all facets of real estate.
My priority is to put my client’s needs first.

Originally from the Midwest, I am a straight shooter! I’m not the realtor that’s going to tell you that every house is amazing! Instead, I am honest, upfront and will notice everything! Ask my husband! Lol. I am going to work hard to make your house perfect to sell and will help you find your dream home that you’ve always wanted!
Having a background as a mortgage broker and a college professor, I love working and helping people succeed and increase their financial goals. I love selling homes, and searching for the best place for someone to live within their budget.
Although I specialize in luxury listings, I enjoy working with all people, especially people who love living by the beach! Everything I own has sand in it, even if it has never been to the beach. It’s easy to convince people to move by the beach, because Southern California living is the best living in the world! Everyday I appreciate where I live and who I am surrounded by-wonderful family and friends who all also love where they live!
I am proud to have all 5-star reviews from all of my previous clients. My goal is to put my client’s needs first and I will do just that!
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I once negotiated on the phone for over 15 hours on a $7-million dollar listing. After all the negotiating, I was able to talk the seller down almost $700,000 off the asking price, and we closed at $6,363,000. Although the majority of my clients do not sell or buy properties this expensive, I am willing to help everyone and anyone that’s looking for someone to support them and negotiate on their behalf.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Everyone knows how hard I work. I give 100% at everything. I do not quit. I will do everything in my power to help you reach your goals. Since I’ve been a South Bay resident for over 25 years, I know a lot of people and I have a lot of connections, and with my persistency, no one is surprised how things turn out having me as their agent. Instead most people laugh and say, “Well that’s just Jenn”.
