We recently connected with Jennifer Fladger and have shared our conversation below.
Jennifer, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?
I have a mentee/friend who dealt with overthinking, suicidal thoughts, anxiety and depression. For 4 years I witnessed her brightest days and her darkest days but I stuck by her and gave her the love she needed and the listening ear she needed. She is now a college graduate with a job and instead of going to a dark place when she gets overwhelmed she now knows how to cope with her emotions in a positive way. I asked her one day why when I ask her to do something or for something why she do it without hesitation and her exact words were “ You saved me when I didn’t know I needed saving”

Jennifer, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Growing up I was exposed to a lot of situations and most of the time I didn’t know how to deal with it. I would either wear my emotions on my sleeve , sadness, anger, depression etc. or I’d bottle up that emotion and act as if everything was ok. In 7th grade I was introduced to counseling/ therapy and that space made me feel safe. I was able to tell my story and get advice with no judgment. As I got older and I met different ladies from different walks of life I knew I wanted to become someone’s safe space so I took my knowledge from my sociology degree as well as my life experience and built a platform of transparency.

In 2016 as a high school senior my principal at the time told me I wasn’t going to graduate high school or go to college. I wasn’t a troubled student I didn’t get in trouble she just disliked me because I used my voice! I graduated high school in 2017, went to college and obtained my bachelor’s degree in 2021 and just recently in 2024 I completed a dual program receiving my associates degree in Business Essentials and my masters degree in Business.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience on social media through telling my story and being transparent. I stayed consistent with sharing quotes and successes. My advice would be not to get discouraged by how long it takes to build up followers but stay consistent.
