Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jennifer Etter. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Jennifer, thanks for joining us today. Is there a heartwarming story from your career that you look back on?
The most rewarding gift is to hear that you have helped someone go from darkness to light. I have had many clients tell me how they have gone to traditional therapy for years and didn’t get what they got with them, that they did with me in one session. One of those was a young male who had been in and out of institutions for years. His mother brought him in every week for a year. After a year, she told me that I had saved not only his life but the whole family’s. This boy, now man has completed collage and is engaged. I love helping others, and know it is my true calling here on this planet.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a mother of two beautiful, strong-willed daughters and a wife to an amazing man. My journey started when I was in middle school. I knew something was different, but didn’t understand just how different. I struggled with depression, anxiety and more as a teen. I can tell you that I was in a dark hole. So, after getting married, and was pregnant with my first child, something amazing happened! I was experiencing spiritual visits and things that you might see in movies. I knew I needed to find a teacher to help me figure out what was happening to me and how I could use it to help others. You see, I had found myself out of that dark hole and I couldn’t stand the thought of anyone else suffering. Miracles happen when you ask for them and when you believe. A teacher showed up and I entered the Nori Institute for Healing. I studied for eight years with that school, becoming a Master Therapist. Since then, I have helped people across the globe in identifying the things holding them back from the life they know they should be living. I help them reconnect to the Divine and take them on the journey back to love. I use the gifts I was given at birth. The gift of extreme intuition and vision. Now, I also share myself with a broader audience on my podcast, Find Her Seat. I love Empowering others with story telling and transparency about life, love and motherhood. We are all in this, thing called life, together. Together we can create incredible things!
We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.
Let me tell you about my co-host, Samantha! I met Samantha at an anti- sex trafficking fundraiser. I knew she was the perfect fit for an opening I had as co-host. She was warm, funny and something in her soul just spoke to the mission. She cared. Really cared about the women and their stories! After a year of getting to know her, participating in multiple fundraisers then, testing her out as a guest, I made it official and we introduced her this past April as my new co-host!
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
There have been so many ups, downs, and real lows in my journey. I have had high hopes, only to see those hopes crash. I guess my entire life prepared me for this, as I have pulled myself up by my boot straps and pushed forward, many times, because there is a strong sense of knowing something big is coming and I signed up for it. “Your playing small does not serve the world.” – Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson. I keep working on myself, and I keep seeing things unfold. I have faith that things will always turn out as it is suposed to, even if it doesn’t look the same as you imagined.
