Success, in my opinion, involves being passionate, practicing gratitude, and prioritizing mental health. Regardless of circumstances, choosing to wake up with gratitude sets the tone for the day. We have the power to decide our outlook and how we respond to life’s challenges. A near-death experience shifted my perspective, reminding me to embrace life fully and cherish every moment. This mindset shapes my approach to success, emphasizing the importance of seizing opportunities and appreciating the journey.

Hello, I’m Jennifer Barrueta, and I’m thrilled to share my journey with you. Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, I’ve always been drawn to the power of holistic healing and spiritual practices. As a mother of two and a wife, I found myself seeking ways to balance my personal life with my passion for helping others. This led me to establish Zen Jenn LLC, where I serve as an agent of change in the realm of alternative healing and spiritual guidance.

My journey into this industry began with a personal quest for inner peace and well-being. Through years of exploration and learning, I became a certified practitioner in various modalities, including sound healing, Reiki, and kundalini yoga. These practices resonate deeply with me, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound transformations they can facilitate in people’s lives.

I offer a range of products and services designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. From soothing sound baths to personalized Reiki sessions, Astrological breakdown of your natal chart and insightful intuitive readings, each offering is crafted with care to provide a unique experience for each one of my clients. Additionally, I handcraft crystal healing bracelets that are infused with Reiki energy, and custom made for each client.

One of the aspects I’m most proud of is my work with high school and university students. Through sound healing sessions and guided meditations, I’ve had the privilege of supporting young adults during pivotal moments in their lives. Whether they’re navigating academic challenges, personal growth, or simply seeking inner clarity, I’m honored to provide a safe space for them to explore and heal.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.

“In 2020, when the pandemic hit, my side hustle offering tarot and astrology readings turned into my full-time business. Initially, I did it for fun, but as the world reopened, going back to my previous job became challenging. So, I made the decision to fully commit to growing my business. Taking a leap of faith, I trusted that everything would work out. In addition to offering tarot and astrology readings, I also became a certified sound healer, Reiki master, and Kundalini yoga teacher. Connecting with local communities, including high schools and ASU, has been instrumental in the growth of my business.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?

The best source of new clients for me has been a combination of word of mouth, local community events, and maintaining an online presence. Word of mouth referrals from satisfied clients have been particularly valuable, as they often come with a built-in level of trust and credibility. Attending and participating in local community events has also allowed me to connect with potential clients face-to-face and build relationships within my community. Maintaining an active and engaging online presence through my website and social media has helped me reach a wider audience and attract new clients who may be searching for services like mine online.
