We recently connected with Jennelle Herrick and have shared our conversation below.

Jennelle, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea

After I experienced a spiritual awakening, I found myself very sensitive to … basically everything. Bright lights, loud noises, and especially synthetic fragrances. This sensitivity turned into my greatest gift because it also made me very sensitive to energy, so much so that I began surrounding myself with crystals – at home, at the office, in my pockets, bras, nightstand, baths, literally everywhere. The more deeper I began working with crystals, the more I could tune into their subtle frequencies, develop relationships with them and my gift for crystal telepathy awoke. I wanted to find a way to work with crystals and develop a very clean candle – using organic soy wax, essential oils, herbs or flowers grown from my lanai in Maui. I’ve always been a candle lover and it was becoming so hard to find candles that didn’t cause me instant headaches, runny nose, or irritation. The more I tried to look for clean candles that ALSO combined the frequency technology of crystals, I found myself very disappointed. Something about it just felt wrong – the crystal pairing with the scent or intention of the candle finally left me saying “that’s it, I’m going to figure out how to make my own candles.” So I did! I honestly picked it up way faster than I expected and within a few weeks my friends and family were begging me to open a business to get these magical goodies out into the world. It was really quickly after that I registered my LLC, created a logo, website, and developed the first 7 candles of the Numerology Candle Collection – it actually only took a week. I saw a need in my life for candles that I could actually tolerate, I wanted to make them magical, intentional and be proud to have them on my crystal grids or altars. I also was excited that I would maybe introduce people who would otherwise not be interested in crystals to them in a way that was included in a familiar product of a candle. Although I only make candles for my business on special occasions and focus more on crystals, 1 on 1 crystal consults and classes now, I am always proud when I reflect on the origin story of my business and how a desire for a product turned into a hobby has led me to something so much bigger than what I could have imaged.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Aloha, my name is Jennelle and I am the proud owner of Crystalline Queendom. I got the call to “surround myself with crystals” about 7 years ago and it has greatly transformed my life and brought me in touch with many of the gifts I have to share. Crystals helped me to tap into the realm of energetics and frequency and learn how to efficiently manage my own energy thought this frequency technology.

I provide cleansed, cleared, activated and attuned crystals that are ready to compliment your unique energy. I handmake crystal bracelets and I source crystal jewelry, I custom make magical candles infused with crystals, mantra and high quality essential oils. For services, I offer crystal telepathy readings, feng shui x crystal telepathy consults, Akashic records readings from the crystalline records, and natal chart x crystal consults. I recently launched a series of classes called the Art of Gridding to teach you how to optimize the use of the crystals in your home for a specific frequency.

You may be wondering what crystal telepathy is. Crystal telepathy is the name that the crystals gave me to define what I can do with crystals. It’s not channeling, it’s a dialogue, it’s a conversation that occur as pictures, feelings, words, and sometimes even drawings. The crystals have troves of wisdom to share from the hundreds of thousands to tens of millions of years they took to be formed in our earthly home. They wish to be of service to us and provide us keys to our healing, accessing our mission and so much more that is available to you when you utilize energetic and frequency management in our daily lives. Many people call them “healing crystals” and this was certainly where I began with them as well. But unless you actively engage and participate with frequencies the crystals are offering, you won’t notice any differences in your life.

I’m proud of the fact that I own my gifts and share them. I’m proud that I can deliver messages from the crystals that directly and tangibly impact the lives of those in my community. I’m proud to see my community working with crystals to create grids and listening to the subtle cues of the crystals. I love that my community is developing their own crystal telepathy and feel empowered to share it with me and each other. I love that have products and services, and yet I’ve never once stepped foot in a gem show. I’m showing by my example that there is another way to steward these treasures to the people who desire them. I do this because it is my passion that I want to share. I would one day like to be running CQ full time and expanding my service offerings this year I believe is also setting me apart. I’m excited to see where this journey organically leads me and where the crystals wish me to focus on. It’s always surprising and exciting to say the least!

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Other people! The majority of my clients, community and customers live on the mainland (I live on Maui) but I feel so connected to each person who is part of my community, who orders from me, or who books a service with me. I primarily conduct business through instagram that is linked to my website for ordering. I strive to be as authentic as possible and I have very high standards for my packaging. I try my best to respond to messages and make my community feel seen. When people share unboxing videos that high standard, attention to detail and love I truly believe is felt through the screen so it’s organic for me to have natural growth with aligned men and women who are interested in this work.

Have you ever had to pivot?

When I started, my business name was Maui Apothecary Magic, however, when I started to focus more on crystals and less on candles, this name no longer really fit the frequency and made me feel quite boxed in. With the help of my amazing friend, Calliope, we worked together to rebrand Maui Apothecary Magic to Crystalline Queendom. I am so happy with taking that leap, because the rebrand also make me refocus of how I can use my business as a vehicle to shine through rather than hide behind. There’s a lot more “me” on my page now and I think it’s fitting that as I worked through the fear of being seen, I opened up to new ideas of service offerings and classes. My crystal telepathy readings even used to be typed and now they’re one on one zoom sessions. There are so many decisions a business owner has to make and I just wanted to say that it’s okay to pivot! It’s okay to edit yourself and realize “oh well this path doesn’t feel right anymore.” And thank it for the gift that it was to get you to where you are now. Discernment is huge and when you are someone who is self reflective and aware as I am (at least that’s why my therapist tells me) you try to see things from multiple perspectives. Just because a certain path didn’t work out, doesn’t mean it didn’t serve me well. I also try to not take things personally. My business is a vehicle for me but it isn’t me. It’s part of me, but it isn’t all of me. So when I feel bad about rescheduling or not getting packages out as fast as I’d like, I try and see the whole picture of my life and what edits I can make with my time or energy so I can find that flow and alignment. Flow not force. If you ever have to force, that’s a good sign it’s time to revaluate, edit and potentially pivot.
