We recently connected with Jenna Zabrosky and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenna , thanks for joining us today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
Space for Possibility is the name of my leadership coaching and spiritual wellness business. In order to invite in intuition, innovative ideas, vision and creativity, we must first create the space for it. This can show up in many ways, whether it’s moving your body on your yoga mat, sitting in stillness for meditation, engaging in a breath work session, doing a self reiki practice, going on a retreat, releasing inherited legacies, journaling or sharing vulnerably in groups. These all create the container for possibility. We get to be in choice in our lives and the ways that we show up moment to moment.
Jenna , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My business has been an evolution over the last decade. I started off as a full time yoga instructor, leading public yoga classes, private 1:1 sessions and yoga retreats. I spent 5 years as a Lululemon Ambassador and created a community here in San Diego. I have since become a reiki master teacher, breathwork facilitator, certified Lightyear Leadership coach and speaker. Like many spiritual wellness professionals it took time to hone my skills and integrate them into a business that is a fully alive expression of my soul’s calling.
Our mission at Space for Possibility is to support women in remembering their innate sense of wholeness, stand in their personal power and remember that they are in choice and possibility in their lives. We highly value community, connection, transparency, leadership, inquiry and authenticity.
I mostly work with women and small female owned businesses. Of course all genders are welcome though.
On the coaching side of the business we have two main programs,
Step into Possibility: a 1:1 high level coaching experience focused on personal power, wholeness and possibility. This is a three month container where you will discover how to tap into joy, get in tune with your body, listen to your intuition, set better boundaries and create a life that lights you up!
The second program is Own Your Spiritual Business, where I support soloprenuers in getting clear on their business mission statement, values, why, vision and goals. You also learn the Lightyear Leadership method called the Cycles of Success, a proven methodology for launching and moving any project forward with the highest possibility for success. When you set up your business from a clear connected space, it’s this foundation that will keep you going when challenges arise.
When I’m not 1:1 coaching and teaching yoga, I am a motivational speaker and present on vision, values, goals, personal leadership and clear communication.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
When the pandemic hit I had a brick and mortar space. Yoga studios were closed down in California and we were on total lockdown. My business went from thriving to zero income overnight. I had to think fast, so I created an online yoga library on Vimeo Ott and now have 70+ recorded classes on demand. I also signed up for a year-long coaching program which completely changed my life and my business. In a time where I could have panicked and shut down mentally I stayed in possibility and trusted that everything would work out better than I could imagine and it was true. Mindset is a major part of the success of any business, you have to build resilience and know that things will go wrong, problems will arise and it’s a matter of how you stay in the vision and faith that a greater plan is at play. Most people are in reaction to the environment and external circumstances. When you learn how to be in the driver’s seat of your life then things even as massive as a global pandemic can’t get you down.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Showing up 100% authentically myself has been the greatest way to build rapport with my community. When I am real and vulnerable it gives permission for my clients and students to do the same. My top personal and business core values are community, connection and authenticity. I’ve always made it a point to make people feel seen, heard and create a sense of belonging. It brings me so much joy to facilitate experiences for authentic connection through transformative practices. People leave feeling lighter, more joyful, more confident and ready to take leaps towards their dreams.
