Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jenna Webb. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jenna, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
My previous and current body of work is spotlights endangered and threatened species in the Appalachias. As a huge nature lover and with strong Appalachia roots, it saddens me deeply to realize we have such an extensive.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’ve been a creative for as I can remember. I’ve dipped my toes in numerous medias and enjoyed them all, but once I tried linoprinting, I fell in love. Now, I’ve been a professional printmaker for going on seven years, participating in gallery shows, festivals, and competitions. I’ve most recently been awarded an Artist in Residency position in Ireland at Olive Stack Gallery for December 2025.
Have you ever had to pivot?
There is ample opportunity for pivoting in life, and being an artist is no different. When things don’t go according to plan, I try to always make the best of the situation or see it as a learning opportunity. The super awesome event turned out to be a dud – I take the time to work on my marketing plan. Spend too much time keeping your tent from blowing away – I remember extra weights next time. This list goes on!
What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
Oftentimes having support from society can make or break an artist. Support can come in many forms and not all of it is monetary. It can be something as simple as sharing a post or commenting on it or providing a place to show their work.
