We were lucky to catch up with Jenna Schwartz recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jenna, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
For as long as I can remember my younger brother and I bonded over his love for inventing and mine for business. We had written various business plans together and spent hours discussing next steps. Unfortunately, him and I never took those next steps nor executed on our ideas together. It wasn’t until I was 26 I realized it was my limiting beliefs had been holding me back from making a move. I began seeking out resources to conquer my fears: received coaching, therapy, and other development channels. In parallel it seemed doors to take action started to appear – maybe they had always been there and I just hadn’t actioned. A few friends, Kevin Hauter, Alex Korpita, and Josh Hibbert, brought me on to their NFT project. As we attended events and conferences peers began asking us for advice and “how” to start a project themselves.
At this point, Josh and I realized this wasn’t the first time in our lives friends and colleagues often sought out our advice, which led us to spin up a consulting and business coaching firm, PCG. At first it was the basics setting up our LLC, Company name, logo, bank account, social media accounts, etc. Then came time to actually service clients! As we began slowly onboarding our clients entrusted us with their personal goals, vulnerabilities, and more. we began seeing real tangible results. Utilizing our combined career experience we have had the chance to help our clients achieve promotions, developing a specific skillset, opening doors for contracts, help a new entrepreneur set up the basics, and watching their revenue grow. The reward of being part of this growth can be best described by the words of Gandhi, “the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
Where we are today has been to make the conscious choice of wanting to let our business be organic and not actively marketing. Our current focus is on building resources for those following our journey and working with us.
We certainly know building a business can often feel like a roller coaster, with high highs and low lows; we aim to support our clients through this processes.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.
Growing up I had a very, “I can do it myself” attitude and quickly found the need to rewire my thinking to embrace partnerships and teammates. While involved in several endeavors both for profit and non-profit/volunteer, Several paths have led me to my various business partners. For today, I’ll share how my PCG co-founder and I became partners in nearly all our for profits companies.
During a tough chapter of my life I found myself leaning into service based healing and volunteered (begged) my friend Colton Daly to let me handle the back end logistics for a first time personal development event he wanted to put on with Alex Korpita.
In parallel to this time period Alex had a thriving vacation home rental business with his partners Josh Hibbert and Kevin Hauter. The trio decided to explore building a loyalty/membership program for their properties and needed a fourth teammate. Due to my volunteer experience with Alex, he put my name in the ring to join the membership program business. In the infancy stages of this venture Josh had exited his day job and began working on the membership program full-time. While attending events in conjunction with the, several peers began asking us for advice on how to build a similar business model. From there Josh and I realized the opportunity to support our peers visions was possible and began building Provenance Consulting Group, PCG.
Through PCG Josh and I have had the opportunity to support a wide spectrum of clients and partaking in varying sectors.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Building and maintaining a reputation is often critical for success. A former mentor of mine once said, “perception is reality and reality isn’t always what is perceived.” I took this to mean what people believe to be true may be very different from what truth really is. So I asked myself how do we bridge this gap and be seen for who we truly are and landed on needing to figure out how to present authentically.
To me I found two key indicators to live an authentic life and be perceived for you who you are.
1) Clarity: When we utilize the skillset of clarity, we provide ourselves and relationships incite on what they are receiving from us and what we expect of them to meet our mutually desired outcomes. Majority of the downfall of relationships (business, friendship, romantic, etc.) are unmet expectations and can often be solved via proper clarity. For example, if you are unsure if your client’s goal is attainable, it is important to share, “I am so excited about helping you work toward achieving a 10x growth in our 3 months working together; however, as we review your previous quarters I think we can easily meet 5x in 3 months. If we can achieve this level, will you find this relationship worth moving forward?” While, this may position you to a lose them as a client, it a lot better than an angry client who hasn’t met their goal (expectation) and begin to bad mouth you or your business.
2.) Consistency: The act of consistency is doing what you say you are going to do just about every time. As humans mistakes and errors are bound to occur. For example arriving on time for every meeting for 3 months and late for the first time – this is a mistake, Verse showing up late to your first and second meeting, it is likely your client (friend/partner whomever you are meeting) will begin to assume you will ALWAYS be late. Subconsciously this can take the confidence in the other to show up, meet deadlines, and ultimately question if you will do what you say you are going to do.
