Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jenna Rose Weisenbach. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jenna Rose, appreciate you joining us today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
For starters, my parents told me I could be anything I wanted when I grew up—and they actually meant it. I was never discouraged from pursuing a creative career. I think they knew early on that there was no way I could be talked out of it, even if they tried, so instead of swaying me toward something different, they focused on teaching me about the grit it would take to succeed.
My parents are a nurse and an engineer, so they didn’t know much about being creative professionals, but they did know it would require hard work. A strong work ethic was instilled in my siblings and me in many different ways by many different people—especially our parents.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I make art that evokes emotion. Most of the time, I aim to spark joy—but sometimes, it’s fun to piss people off, which can be joyful in its own way, depending on whose side you’re on.
I’m an art director, designer, and photographer. I can’t do brain surgery, but I can direct, photograph, and design the poster for you and your brain surgeon’s favorite movie—which I think is pretty cool.
I studied Advertising and Branding at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I was encouraged to explore everything that goes into crafting a campaign: copywriting, photography, graphic design, and more. I’m a big believer that the best teammates have played your position—so I took classes in those areas with no expectations of being great, just hoping to learn the lingo and understand the process. Along the way, I fell in love with so many aspects of production.
I’ve been holding a camera since I was a kid, and I’ve been a good photographer for about five years. I’m drawn to passionate people. My favorite subjects are concerts—because of the passion. A room full of people loving the same thing at the same time is rare in such a divided world, and when I see that, I have to capture it. I’ve been lucky enough to feel that high as a fan, and to freeze that moment in time for someone else is a true honor.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My purpose is to create art that brings people together. I’ve worked across professional sports, television, bridal and weddings, wellness, and more—and the common thread in all of it is community and connection.
My next goal is to work in the music industry for that same reason: it unites people. There’s nothing quite like the energy of a shared experience through sound and storytelling.
Lately, I’ve been especially inspired by the work of Creative Director Molly Hawkins. Her work is beautiful, vibrant, and full of life. Collaborating with her is absolutely on my career bucket list.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
When it comes to managing a team, my best advice is simple: be kind and be organized. I’ve worked with hundreds of incredibly talented people, but the ones I remember—and want to work with again—are the ones who were genuinely kind and could respond to an email in a reasonable amount of time.
Remember, it’s everyone’s first time doing life. We’re all learning and figuring it out as we go—some folks are just better at faking it than others.
As for morale: be excited! Jumping up and down when you get the shot might not look the most professional on paper, but the photographer will feel seen and appreciated. Let your jaw drop when you see a stunning set design. That kind of energy is contagious and memorable.
I want to keep working with people who make me feel appreciated—and I try to be that person for others, too.
