We recently connected with Jenna Rayachoti and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jenna thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
The moment I decided to become a Naturopathic Doctor. I returned home from being a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, West Africa and no one could figure out what was happening in my body. I was having recurrent ear and skin infections that were landing me in the ER. I was being prescribed endless antibiotics and steroids and nothing was improving. In fact, everything was getting worse. I was seeing several different doctors and no one knew what to do.
I finally saw a Naturopathic Doctor and she changed my life. She asked me questions no one was asking me and dug deep into what was really going on in my body. She started peeling back layers and addressing the underlying issues and my health completely changed. She uncovered food sensitivities, underlying gut issues, hormonal issues and inflammation. And once we started addressing these, one by one, my body was able to calm down and begin to heal. And this is when I decided that I didn’t want to become an Orthopedic Surgeon, but that I wanted to be a Naturopathic Doctor and help people heal their bodies from the inside out.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a Naturopathic Doctor. who specializes in women’s hormones. I help women move beyond burnout, exhaustion and overwhelm to feeling confident and empowered about their body and their hormones. I help women uncover the underlying issues that are affecting their energy, sleep, mood, periods, fertility, etc. I help them connect to their most joyful, courageous, and vibrant self so they can go on and do all the amazing things they are meant to do in their lifetime. I help women move beyond the “line of fine” – where they are when their doctor says their labs are “fine” or normal, but they sure don’t feel fine or normal.
I work with women 1 on 1 in my virtual practice. I have courses that help women better understand their bodies and build confidence in knowing what’s going on with their hormones and natural cycles. I also lead group programs to build connection, community and healing together.
I specialize in women’s hormones, but have a particular focus in fertility. I especially love to help women who have a history of miscarriage or who have been struggling to get pregnant and they are feeling stuck and discouraged.
I also love helping women throughout pregnancy and in postpartum who are looking for a holistic approach. I practiced as a doula before becoming a doctor and absolutely love supporting women in this precious time in their life growing and raising resilient little humans!
Most recently, my new focus is on helping women prepare their body to get off of birth control – whether they are wanting to get pregnant, or just return to their natural rhythms. I provide them with step by step guidance on navigating all the information on the internet about this topic, how to feel most confident about their decision with getting off birth control and avoiding unwanted symptoms post birth control! I love it and it’s such a needed area of care for women!
Above all, as a Naturopathic Doctor, I make sure my patients and clients feel seen and heard and they feel confident and empowered to be the authority on their own health!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
After the birth of my second baby, I thought I had it all figured out. I was really tuning in and listening to the needs of my body. I was eating really well, resting when needed, calling on my community for help, all the things. Then about 3-4 months postpartum, my family went on a ski trip and I basically overdid it. I was skiing everyday (much of the time carrying my kids while doing it), staying up later than usual, drinking more wine than I was used to (with my mom, of course!). Two weeks after this trip, I found myself unable to hold my baby for more than 30 seconds. My joints hurt, my muscles ached, and I had immense fatigue. Then about 3 months later, my family was in a horrendous car accident with the kids. Everyone was safe, but we were lucky to be alive. And the accident intensified my daily pain and discomfort. Finally, after a big 6 month journey with different providers, I was diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome aka EDS).
Through all of this, I had to relearn how to take care of myself and really listen to my body’s needs. I returned to the basics of sleep hygiene, stress management and nutrition. I started daily mindset and meditation practices that have been life altering. And I was finally able to pull myself out of this daily pain. My body continues to require attention and care in ways I didn’t need to do 5 years ago, but this experience has made me a better provider for my patients and a more resilient human and mother for my family and community.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
The work of David Bayer and Adele Tevlin on mindset has been game changing for me. I have learned to shift away from my victim mode and scarcity mindset. I start EVERY day with intention and purpose rather than just waking up and going through the day just like I did the day before. I start the day with forgiveness of one thing from the day prior and commit to 3 things for the current day. Visualizing how I will show up for the day is everything! It sounds so simple, but is how I am finding abundance in all areas of my life!
