We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jenna Mutya. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jenna below.
Alright, Jenna thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
This is such an emotional question because I wouldn’t be where I am today without my greatest support system-my parents. They both immigrated to the US from the Philippines as teens, facing the challenges of learning a new language and starting from nothing. Years later, after working hard, they met, got married, and built such a special life for themselves, and my sister, and I.
What my parents did right was instill in my sister and me the values of perseverance, selflessness, and service. Their motivation wasn’t just personal success- it was about taking care of their loved ones and giving back to the community. Despite their struggles, they always found a way to serve others. In the US, they built a life through hard work and sacrifice, not just to survive but to ensure that we had the resources and opportunities that weren’t available to them when they were growing up. Their sacrifices ensured that my sister and I had choices, the kind of choices that allowed us to dream bigger and pursue the paths we were truly passionate about. All they ever wanted was for us to have the freedom to pursue our own American dreams.
Their selflessness is my greatest inspiration. Seeing them devote their lives to creating a better future for us has given me a deep sense of purpose and why I push myself to achieve greatness. If my parents could build such a fruitful life with far fewer resources, then I have no excuse but to strive for even more. I had the privilege of more access, more opportunities, and more choices because of their sacrifices, and that’s something I carry with me every day.
I feel incredibly privileged to stand on the foundation they have built and am committed to continuing their legacy. Like them, I want to uplift others and use the opportunities they fought for to make a difference, honoring their journey as I pursue my own dreams.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m the founder of RBRND STUDIOS. My journey into digital marketing began towards the end of the pandemic in 2021. During this time, I was a third-year business student who fell in love with her marketing classes. I was desperately eager to practice what I learned in these courses and find ways to support businesses in recovering from the pandemic. Luckily enough, I was approached by family friends, Kim and Andrew Todd (of Dipietro Todd Salons), to strategize a marketing plan to help their salons pick up momentum again. This led me to start freelancing in social media management. It was then that I quickly realized how much I loved helping businesses connect with their communities. What started as a passion project turned into RBRND STUDIOS- a creative agency dedicated to building lasting relationships.
RBRND’s ethos is built on connection, collaboration, and meaningful impact. Our focus goes beyond marketing; we foster connections between brands and their audiences in ways that build trust and lasting engagement. We take the time to get to know our clients deeply, which allows us to craft personalized strategies that align with their goals and values. We’ve been fortunate to work with amazing clients in industries like fitness, health, teach, beauty, fashion, real estate, and food, while helping them secure features in RedBull, Good Morning America, Nike, Nordstrom, Valentino, On Running, and Gap, just to name a few.
[Digital marketing services include: social media management, content creation, creative direction/brand strategy, graphic design, public relations]
Our holistic approach also sets us apart. Beyond digital marketing, we provide financial planning services through our partnership with LDM Ventures, ensuring our clients have both the creative and financial foundations to succeed. We understand that marketing and finances are two sides of the same coin, and without strength in both areas, long-term growth can definitely be difficult. This combination of services allows us to support businesses in ways that most agencies don’t.
At RBRND, we’re so proud of the amazing partnerships we’ve build with out clients, where they often become more like friends. We take pride in the quality of our service and our holistic approach, helping our clients build legacies and create meaningful change.
My personal mantra is “Stay Hungry.” It’s a reminder to continuously seek growth, stay curious, and never settle. I believe there’s room for everyone to succeed, and with the right support, any business can thrive. My goal is to help founders work on their business, not just in it, so they can scale and create lasting impact.
If you’re looking for a partner invested in your success, we’d love to collaborate and bring your vision to life (portfolio available upon request – [email protected]).

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is having the opportunity to help others achieve their purpose. With RBRND, we get to capture our clients’ wins and share their stories with the world, which we find extremely fulfilling. Seeing our clients thrive and knowing that we played a role in their success is incredibly gratifying.
I also love the growth that comes with building long-term relationships with clients. As they evolve, so does our creative approach, and it feels amazing to grow alongside them. Beyond that, meeting and collaborating with other creatives- whether they’re videographers, graphic designers, or fellow agency owners- has been a highlight of my journey. Running a business can sometimes feel lonely, but the connections built make it so rewarding. I’m always eager to learn from others’ strengths and continue improving my craft.
What excites me most is that there’s always room for growth in this field. That drive for improvement ensures that RBRND can keep delivering high-quality work to our clients while staying inspired and curious.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What has helped me build my reputation within my market is the fact that I’m deeply value-driven. My personal values serve as a compass, guiding every decision I make—whether in business or in my personal life. They give me a clear sense of direction and keep me grounded, no matter what challenges come my way. These values, like integrity, authenticity, and service, have shaped the way I approach my business, my relationships, and my work ethic.
In building RBRND, I’ve always been intentional about staying true to who I am and what I and the team believe in. This means being selective with the clients and projects we take on, making sure they align with the core values of the agency. When we work with clients, we expect to create genuine, lasting relationships built on mutual respect, honesty, and a shared vision. This intentionality has allowed the business to form timeless connections with clients, collaborators, and even other creatives in the industry.
By sticking to my values, I’m able to make decisions that reflect the kind of business I want RBRND to be—one that’s transparent, collaborative, and driven by purpose. These values also push me to consistently deliver high-quality work because I believe in giving my best in everything I do. That consistency and dedication are a big part of what has earned me trust and respect in this industry.
If there’s one piece of advice I would share, it’s to understand your personal values and let them guide your journey. They help you stay grounded, remain true to your vision, and ultimately, lead you toward success. For me, my values are not just words—they’re the foundation that has helped me build a reputation I’m proud of.
