We recently connected with Jenna Faith and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenna, thanks for joining us today. The first dollar your business earns is always special and we’d love to hear how your brand made its first dollar of revenue.
I love telling this story, because unlike most “overnight success” stories.. my first client was the hardest. It actually took an entire year from the inception of my business to get my first paying clients. Even though that was almost 10 years ago, I still remember it like it was yesterday! Who doesn’t remember their very first paying client? I had been hustling hard on social media at the time (mainly Instagram), I was consistently posting, putting out offers and an awesome woman ended up in my inbox. I was doing these ask me anything questions on Instagram (this was before lives, reels and stories). She came into my inbox for a question and I gave her such great advice, she asked ME how she could continue. I was shaking in my boots, wondering if my price would be too much for her, would she say yes once she knew the details, etc. But I told her and she immediately said I’m in, how do I pay you? I scrambled to get a paypal link before she could change her mind. She didn’t and actually she continued working with me after the first initial round. It was a great feeling after working so hard for a year to finally make that first dollar. I felt validated. And of course, clients became a lot easier after that!
Jenna, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am a Visibility & Monetization Strategist for online entrepreneurs and personal brands. I work with high achieving women to remove their money and visibility blocks so they can earn more and make a bigger impact.
My company, Meant for Millions- was founded to help women across the world create wealth and freedom with their online business.
I work with people in a few different capacities. On the consulting side, I show entrepreneurs exactly how to create content and offers that sell, how to raise company awareness through unique branding and marketing strategies and how to turn their hobby business into a real, scalable and sellable business with team, processes and systems.
Ultimately when an individual is growing a business or a brand, they inevitably come across mindset and other internal struggles. In the coach capacity, I help my clients work through those struggles and blocks and replace old beliefs and mindsets so they can be successful beyond just completing business tasks, but actually stepping into and embodying the entrepreneur mindset and way of life.

In the last 8 years, I’ve had the pleasure of supporting over 3,000 paying clients and have generated more than $3M in revenue. I’ve written multiple books, including the best seller: Your First Six Figures. I’ve also has been featured in over 200 publications and podcasts, including Business Insider, Inc., Fast Company, Forbes.com and more…. and she’s just getting started!
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
My best source of new clients has been referrals but not in the traditional way. They have come from me collaborating and partnering with other entrepreneurs and them showcasing me to their audience through the way of a free lead magnet, live training or webinar. Being introduced as an expert to other people’s audiences, whether that be on an interview, video, podcast or partner training has been a game changer. It’s one thing for you to talk about how great you are, it’s a totally different ballgame when someone else talks about how awesome you are. I can get in front of hundreds, if not thousands, of my ideal clients without hustling on social media trying to get seen or paying an arm and a leg on Facebook ads. Those clients refer me to other clients and at least half my clients become repeat buyers/clients.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Delivering what you promised and getting actual results for your clients is the #1 way to stay in business for the long haul- especially when there are a ton of posers and people who could care less and just want to make a buck, Showing my clients that I care about them by having an intimate onboarding process and detailed communication builds trust and they tell others about the incredible experience they had working with me. I hold incredible space for my clients to be all of who they are and also rise to their next level. I make sure that my clients are getting results. Happy clients = a great reputation, especially online.
