We recently connected with Jenliza and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenliza, thanks for joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

As of lately I have felt the most free spirited I’ve ever been with my music. Feeling experimental, I’ve composed a few different genres & styles of music that I am super proud of! I also recently made my own beat and plan on continuing to make more in the future. I’ve been working constantly with my producer TylurOcean (s/o the best) & I’ve never felt more inspired. Hard work being put in and making incredible music has definitely inspired me to continue to become better.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Singing & creating music has always been an important piece of my life. It allowed me to express emotions in a different way than i was allowed, and i honestly find it therapeutic for me. It’s a safe space i can come back to and vent when the world & things around me can be hectic….or when i want to be silly haha! I’ve been singing & writing since then and started pursuing music professionally in 2020.

I’m most proud of the passion & effort I’ve put into my craft. I put a lot of thought into details and planning of my music, all on my own. independent! I’m also experienced in visual art. I’ve created my own logos, visuals, edits and short snips. I’m excited to branch more into that & creating in the studio.

I can’t share too much of what i have planned, but I will say i am working on an experimental album with a bunch of different sounds that i am so excited for! Stay tuned for that soon.

It’s so important. I recently saw that a certain streaming platform plans to up their $ amount per stream. that’s amazing to hear!

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My dream in life is to be able to use my voice for healing, fun, laughs & love. I want the world to hear. The ultimate goal is to have stability for me, my family & friends. Blessings for everyone around me, they definitely give me motivation. Very thankful for all of them!
