Alright, Jena thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?

One of my favorite success stories was recently with a existing listing in Aurora! Their property languished on the market for 50 days. Despite 25 showings, 2 price reductions, and 4 open houses the home failed to gain traction. The seller’s initially lived there when it was listed, but they eventually moved into their new residence, leaving it vacant.

Upon being contacted by the agent in urgency, I analyzed the situation and asked for feedback that they received to give me insight on what needed to be done. In all honestly, the buyers couldn’t visualize the space walking into a vacant home and the photos online weren’t bringing in a lot of traffic due to the sellers’ furnishings of when it was initially listed.

We set to work, staged and within ONE hour the property had its 26th showing, followed with an offer! The success didn’t stop there – multiple offers rolled in, ultimately resulting in a sale that exceeded expectations by $25,000.

This story truly underscores the power of connecting the buyers on an emotional level, reaffirming the importance of staging (yes, I still get goosebumps with every success story), influencing purchase decisions and transforming challenging situations into triumphant achievements.

Jena , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My love for real estate and home design converged in 2007, leading me to discover my true passion, home staging. Back then, staging wasn’t well known, yet I firmly believed in the impact of first impressions and the distinction between “the way you live” vs “the way you sell”. My journey continued as I added my real estate license for several years to learn all aspects of selling a home, but kept my focus on home staging. The journey and success began in Minnesota, but a new dream led me to Colorado, prompting a fresh start with a new brand and company, Sell It Staged.

My home staging services encompass a comprehensive range of services to support the entire selling process to present their homes in the best possible light for a successful sale. Services include; providing in home consultations to prepare sellers to list (in home or virtually), accessory staging for occupied homes in need of a refresh, and delivering full staging solutions for vacant properties.

What truly sets me apart is my unparalleled 16 yrs of experience I offer to both sellers and agents. Understanding the immense stress that comes with selling a home, my true objective is to simplify the process, maximize their profits, and deliver the ultimate selling experience!

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Building my company from the ground up in a new state requires continued proactive efforts! I found that getting out there and engaging with the real estate community and networking groups has been a crucial strategy & very beneficial. Establishing meaningful relationships with these circles allows me to connect with potential clients, partners and collaborators.

Also maintaining an active and engaging presence on social media platforms is key, it allows me to showcase my work, share valuable content, testimonials, and connect with a broader audience.

My journey has been marked by triumphs and transitions. From the heights of success in Minnesota, where I graced magazines and television screens, orchestrated a team of six skilled stagers and achieved over a six figure financial success, the tides have definitely shifted! Starting all over, I don’t have financial abundance as I use too, I’ve had to adjust my lifestyle and live more modest, including eliminating my frequent traveling, and had to find other ways to bring in income in while my business grows. Despite all the hurdles, I realized that happiness transcends monetary gains. Fueled by my passion, I fearlessly embark on my new journey. I hope my personal journey serves as an inspiration for others who may be navigating the similar shift, or starting a new business.
