Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jeffry Pavon. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Jeffry, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I knew what I wanted to be since I was a kid. I wanted to be the next Robin Williams, Jim Carey, Patrick Swayze or Heath Ledger. I knew I was destined for something great. All these actors gave me light, strong will power and motivation to become the best actor I can be.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
To start off for all you out there who haven’t heard or don’t know about me, I am an upcoming Actor. My name is Jeffry Pavon. I’m from Managua, Nicaragua. I came to the United States when I was 2 years old. Florida raised in the beautiful MIA (305). I’m 36 years old. I have 3 beautiful siblings and an amazing mother and father. Truly blessed and grateful for all of them.
I got into the entertainment industry when I was in my teens. I started as a background (extra) in soap operas for Univision and Telemundo.
What do I provide to my business career? Sweat, blood and tears. Many years of dedication. Determination, self discipline, self-love, self belief, passion and creativity. To be able to play a role and act on command.
What sets me apart from others is my strong belief in my self. The ability to feel all the love, pain and passion. To be able to play a role, yet be creative on command, whether it’s a hopeless romantic, the evil villain, the superhero ect. My passion for what I love helps me become these characters. It comes naturally from within. My experiences in my life journey were all a preparation to get me to where I am at today. I don’t regret anything in my life, although it has been hard, and I continue to push through even when I’m not satisfied. My sacrifice and work ethics is what sets me apart.
What I’m most proud of? Honestly I’m most proud of myself. I’m proud of never giving up and never taking no for an answer. I’m proud of the hardships. I’m proud I’m not the same person I was yesterday. I’m proud of how far I got to where I am at, yet not satisfied.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an actor to me is knowing how to deliver the feelings and emotions to create a character.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Absolutely. One resource I wish I know about earlier is how to get a great agent who will support and help me make the right decisions. Like getting castings and or auditions for me. Another thing I wish I knew was how to set up an LLC for my entertainment business and that this was something I should’ve done from the very beginning.
