We recently connected with Jeffri Martin and have shared our conversation below.
Jeffri , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
I have several that are very deep and meaningful. A recent project I worked is a book I publish, the name of it is, “The Love That You Deserve and it speaks to couples who have suffered or are suffering in unhealthy and toxic relationships to the point where we lose ourselves and drift away from God! Relationships should bring you closer to God and bring out the best version of who you are. I am also in the progress of writing another book which is very meaningful. I look for it to have a impact on someone’s personal life and helping them commit to being a better person on the inside and out.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am from Carrollton, AL. I am 28 years old. God is always first! A few things I enjoy is of course writing, photography, sports, cooking, nature, family, conversation etc. Every since I was four years old, writing has always a passion of mine. Throughout the years I realized it is not just a passion it’s my gift and my way of connecting with others. I just officially became a business owner in photography (SnapCaptureShot) the beginning of this year, my reason for getting into business was to showcase my talent and skills to the public and using my business to not only attract clients but too influence and spread positivity also. I want potential clients to know that I strive to be one of the best at what I do and my brand is lenient and legit. My goal is to work with customers, show courtesy and give them options and not just what I think. I have some works that I haven’t exposed yet but will be uploaded soon to my Instagram page where you can follow @snapcaptureshot
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
A couple of years ago I felt that my life was at a complete standstill due to a personal situation I was experiencing. It effected me mentally and emotionally in a lot of ways. It caused me to put some of my dreams on hold because of the fear, stress and anxiety that had placed on stronghold on me. I reminded myself each day that it was only a temporary and God would bring me out of the situation. It was all for a greater purpose and showed how courage, determination and resilience are key factors in seeing your potential and being a worthwhile success. Moral is whatever you are battling or struggling with you cannot do it on your own, you have to allow God to take control. Just because it doesn’t happen overnight doesn’t mean that its not going to happen. Success requires sacrifice, obedience, resilience, diligence, determination and consistency.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Absolutely, my goal is to see my business as a worldwide success and the mission is staying authentic and no matter how long it takes to see my vision come to life, I have to keep God first and remain patient, focus and committed during the progress.
