We recently connected with Jeff Dume and have shared our conversation below.
Jeff, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you share a customer success story with us?
I am so thankful to have met and partnered with Jeff. I was stuck at one point and did not know what business to get into nor where to go with life in general but thanks to him I now make six figures and have two successful businesses. Not only did he give me a guide to help the idea prosper. I highly recommend everyone work with him. Also, I have been in this business for less than a year, have already reached over 800 people, and have 298 clients!
Jeff, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started a business consultant business where I help entrepreneurs obtain logos, ideas, sales, partnerships, expanding opportunities, management, operating, networking, obtaining funds, recruiting, and learning how to market their new business effectively. I review their business plan and tailor it to help it grow efficiently. I am in all major industries from construction to finance; I help clients solve problems from ideas, presentation, marketing, and recruitment. What set me apart from others is the fields I have been to, the books I’ve read, and the ability to put things together from multiple industries while giving them a one-stop contact for all needs. The most I’m proud of is my potential, testimonials on my last client, and my growth opportunity in the Houston market. The main thing I want a potential client to know about me and my work is my job is to simply make your life easier.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
The biggest book I’ve read that impacted my management and entrepreneurial thinking, and philosophy is Think and Grow Rich. This book allowed me to find my niche and allow me to monetize while setting me up how to manage it and scale it. The main thing it has taught me is always to seek expert counsel, look at your failures and study how they failed, and the best business found their failures and fixed them faster. It showed me that you have to be success-conscious, success-oriented, and success motivated to be able to see, seek and act on opportunities.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What helped me build my reputation in the market is networking, market knowledge, and a one-stop shop. When you are able to be the resource for all needs of someone’s business it cuts out the need to contact 20 different people for different matters. On top of that, when you know market knowledge allows you to prioritize the client’s priorities to make sure they succeed. Finally, the way you’re able to have a good reputation is by knowing the right people and businesses that are align with your beliefs.
