JeDonna, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

The story behind my mission is to brake generational curses nationwide. I want to show myself and other people out here like me, we can do it! A-lot of us come from rough backgrounds and lack the ability to push ourselves for greatness. I am the mission that will be shown as proof that we are capable to reach successfulness. I want to push other individuals to tap into and showcase their potential, purpose, and talent!

My name is JeDonna Mathis. I’m from Grand Rapids, MI. I am a self-published author. CEO of Where My Pen Leaks Fire LLC. I’m the founder and host of Lola’s Chronicles Podcast. I also just launched my very own magazine called Lolas Chronicles Mag.

I began writing at the age of 10. From that point on writing came to me naturally. I wrote my first two books at the age of 18. Writing has always been something I loved to do. Creating stories and seeing how much people enjoyed them. I published my first book in 2016.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

First and foremost his name is Matthew Santana Jr. The CEO/ Founder of Santana Global Publications.

I met Matthew through a mutual authors group we both were in of Facebook. I have made a long post speaking on my writing journey. I was experiencing so many closed doors. I had just ended my business with my second publisher. So my I was so discouraged. I wrote that I was done writing and I quit. Well Matthew ended up reading the post and reached out to me. I ignored him numerous of times. He was very persistent and kept reaching out.
One day I finally answered and lets just say to make a long story short. Matthew and I have been friends for 3-4 years now. He is my Mentor and Business Partner. I’m learning so much from him. I’m supper blessed he didnt give up on me and that I answered hid call that day.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

To always keep writing. Stay consistent and promote yourself like never before. Stay in contact with your readers. Understand what they love most about my writing, so I can keep delivering.
