Jean louis, appreciate you joining us today. Please tell us about starting your own firm and if you’d do anything different knowing what you know now.
Strongroom Intelligence is a company born from a vision of innovation and driven by its team’s collaborative spirit and community support. Strongroom Intelligence project started in 2017 following JL’s intuition. JL recognised the burden imposed on compliance officers and analysts by information gathering and counterparty risks monitoring; they spend a lot of time in search processes that are expensive, ineffective and sometimes need to be fully updated.
The prices of the most well-known intel companies are often unaffordable by medium-sized companies, while their needs for compliance checks and monitoring increase in number and depth.
Guided by this vision, JL started an innovative compliance tech company with the help of Daniel, and they were joined by Sebastiano, Fernando, and Monica, who shaped the company’s structure and provided the needed expertise. For the US market, JL relied on Anthony to promote and develop this enormous market.

Just when things were getting intense with the development of AMOS (our Automated Monitoring System) – a crucial piece of the puzzle – James, an old friend with expertise in cybersecurity and programming, stepped in. His arrival was perfectly timed, providing the missing piece to overcome the development hurdles and continue exceeding client expectations.
