We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jazzabel And Brandon Gonzalez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Our mission is to help people capture and celebrate the most important moments in their lives through fun and interactive photobooth experiences. We started this business because we have always been passionate about photography and the way it can preserve memories. Growing up, we didn’t have a lot of fancy technology, but the photos we took with family and friends were priceless. We wanted to create a business that offered people a chance to make those memories together in a fun, unique way. It’s not just about the photos, it’s about creating an experience that brings joy, laughter, and a sense of connection for everyone involved.

Jazzabel and Brandon, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

We’re a husband-and-wife team who started our photobooth business after planning our own wedding. When we were creating our wedding, we knew we wanted to have a fun, memorable experience for our guests. We set up our own photo area, which included a photographer, a photobooth, and even disposable cameras at the tables. That’s when we realized how much we loved creating those moments for others and how much fun people had capturing memories in a photobooth. That passion is what led us to start our business.

At our core, we provide more than just photobooths – we create experiences. We offer a range of photobooth services that are all about making events fun, interactive, and full of memories. We have two types of photobooths: a traditional DSLR camera booth that prints photos instantly, and a Glam Booth that gives guests those chic black-and-white Kim Kardashian-style photos, perfect for adding a touch of luxury to any event. Our Selfie Booth is completely self-operated, giving guests the freedom to snap gifs, boomerangs, and unlimited digital photos – all in a super fun and easy-to-use setup. And one of the things we’re most proud of is our Video Guestbook – it’s like a phone guestbook, but better, because you get to see your guests’ faces and hear their personal messages, creating something truly special and personal to look back on.

What sets us apart from others is our attention to detail and our focus on offering something for everyone. What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

As we continue to grow, our creative journey is driven by the desire to offer more variety and excitement through different kinds of photobooths. We want to give our clients a range of experiences that match their individual tastes and the vibe of their events. Whether it’s a traditional photobooth, a glamorous Kim Kardashian-inspired photo shoot, a fun selfie booth with gifs and boomerangs, or something more customized, we aim to offer something for everyone. Our goal is to bring different kinds of experiences to every event, so guests leave with not just photos but lasting memories that they can relive over and over again.

Ultimately, we’re focused on creating experiences that make our clients’ special occasions even more meaningful and fun. We’re constantly innovating and thinking of new ways to elevate the photobooth experience, because we believe that every event deserves to be celebrated in a unique and unforgettable way.

How’d you meet your business partner?

Our story starts in 2015, the good ol’ days of Tinder. I swiped right on my now-husband/business partner, and what stood out right away was how opposite we were. I’m an extrovert, always ready to jump into a conversation and meet new people, while he’s more of an introvert who enjoys a quieter, more laid-back vibe. At first, it felt like we couldn’t be more different, but we quickly realized that our differences created the perfect balance. He’s the calm to my storm, and I’m the spark that gets things rolling.

We started talking, and soon enough, we were inseparable. Fast forward to 2021, we got married, and now we have a beautiful baby girl who just turned one in March. Life has been a whirlwind of love, adventure, and building a business together. In our partnership, he’s the hands-on guy, taking care of the labor and the behind-the-scenes work, while I’m more in the spotlight, managing the operations, networking, and handling the social media side of things. Together, we’ve created a business that reflects our perfect balance – a little bit of introversion and extroversion, a lot of passion, and a shared vision for creating unforgettable experiences for others.

It’s been a wild, fun journey, and we’re excited to continue building something special – both in life and in business.
