We recently connected with Jazmine Tricoche and have shared our conversation below.
Jazmine , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today. Being a business owner can be really hard sometimes. It’s rewarding, but most business owners we’ve spoken to sometimes think about what it would have been like to have had a regular job instead. Have you ever wondered that yourself? Maybe you can talk to us about a time when you felt this way?
Entrepreneurship is hard but working for someone else with no purpose is even harder! Throughout my 10 years as an entrepreneur, I have experienced so many challenges and so many great accomplishments!
I actually think about quitting my business and resuming my corporate career at least once a year … but then I think about my corporate career experience… They never asked me what my goals were, about my aspirations or even how they can help me accomplish my own dreams you know! They only cared about the money I made them never the value I possessed that was far way more valuable!
If I were to go get a job tomorrow, where does that leave my staff? Where does that leave my dreamers (customers) that have watched me evolve and they to have been inspired to chase their dreams and start that business with my story and journey!?
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Although, we faced COVID and it was such a devastating pandemic for us all, it did so much for our business growth!
We were able to receive funding we didn’t have access to before but more importantly we were able to help so many entrepreneurs start and brand their own business!
We take pride in knowing that during such a tough time, entrepreneurs were born and we all know we need more human heroes!
We even were so successful during the pandemic, we invested in Opening our new business The Dream Center Event Venue!
We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
Omg so I was introduced to Amanda Avery with Bluff City Magazine about 3 years ago through a mutual colleague.
Little did I know, we both shared the same passion to want to help other entrepreneurs build, grow and scale their own business.
Almost, a year ago we planned and executed our new program, BOA which stands for Business Owners’ Association where we take entrepreneurs through a 10 session journey on how to build grow and scale their small business!
I would have never thought in the first year, we would have 25 members! This has evolved into an amazing partnership and collaboration that I am forever thankful for !
Now, we have 25 members and 2 additional board members, Bishop Elbert Jones III with The Place of Hope and Marcus Jones with L3 Media, who are also long time business colleagues.
I can’t wait to see what’s in store next year for BOA!
