We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jazmine Paige a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jazmine, thanks for joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
My biggest risk was being forced to be an entrepreneur, due to my son’s (Kace) special needs; Autism and Vision impairment.
Every move I had to take while being his mom were all risks. I couldn’t commit to any workplace‘s schedule and time. My time became Kace’s time. Which lead me to getting more serious with my entrepreneurship.
Thank God I found my gift before becoming a mother. I always loved/love what I do, but now instead of it being a hobby it became my full time job!
Bills were coming and I needed food and a roof for my son , so my grind and motivation sky rocketed!
My biggest lesson about taken risk; Kace taught me through his “abilities” , especially with his vision impairment. ALWAYS! “ WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT”!
If there is something, anything that’s calling for you and you know you want it and know it’ll be good for you yet your afraid; or don’t know how it’ll happen step by step. Only focus on 1 step at a time, you will eventually get there. You don’t need a roadmap, you ONLY need faith. God will provide the way. Just walk to the door when he’s knocking!

Social media became our everyday world in business. It has helped me grow my business from 0 clients to over booked!
Learning How to stay consistent with posting my work and hashtags to grow audience. 90% of my clients comes from social media and hashtags!
Post everything! Content is key for consistent booking.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Hands down… it was the Glow effect! Giving the girls babydoll vibes yet still feeling good about themselves!
Home of the Glow and soft glam. I heard that the most over 10 yrs in this industry. As well as my knowledge of makeup and teaching you how to apply makeup in an easy to learn strategy.
