We recently connected with Jaylynn Bigdoski and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaylynn, thanks for joining us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.

In order to get started with anything you want in life you have to take risks.

When I first started posting on social media I was 11 and didn’t know what I was doing, and was nervous that I would get made fun of. It took me years to build up the confidence to post content on the platforms I enjoy. What I did to get there was watch the influencers I love enjoy what they are doing. I love travel and I love taking pictures, building a buisness around what you have a passion for so how you make life worth it.

Cheerleading is what gave my the opportunity to travel to all these fun places i never thought id be Going to so quickly. Cheer has given be a strength I didn’t know I had mentally and physically. I was given the experience to compete against the best teams in the world at an Olympic level. Doing this for a couple years taught me to not worry about what people say, to love what you do no matter who doesn’t want to see you love it.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Jaylynn Bigdoski, better knows around as Jaylynn Rose. I’m a 21 year old influencer/athlete. I’ve been developing my social media since I was in 7th grade and I’m now a senior in college. I’ve grown due to my love for fashion, travel and cheerleading.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

A mission I have with what I do is to inspire those around me. I have a wide open audience with all the viewers I have and whether it’s cheer or fashion or travel. There are so many people out there that love what I love and the best I can do is continue to live , love and thrive so show everyone that they can to.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Advice that I have is forget about all the embarrassing and chugy things you can think of. I used to think tagging and using hashtags were embarrassing but they are the reason you grow. No one is going to find what you’re paying unless you have something searchable to go by.
