Hi Jaylen, thanks for joining us today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
Moving from Nashville to Houston Texas really pushed my career forward. Having the confidence to leave another city and start over completely took a lot. The things I’ve been through with school and work has built my character for the better.

As a Private chef the competition is heavy. I believe my food and customer service separates me from others. My drive and passion in this industry is second to none. Each element of the food and presentation has a certain standard I go by
Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?
Stay consistent when not getting booked will take you far. Every business has a slow period. Making content with food and doing various culinary seminars can keep your skills sharp and gain traction through social media
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Social media has been nice but I feel like word of mouth is so much more solid. Past customers can offer insight on what it’s like booking the Elite Kitchen Experience.
