We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jayde “Scooby” Graham a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jayde “Scooby”, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
My business name is Caerus Multimedia, and the name came to life by my love of history. In Greek mythology Caerus is the youngest son of Zeus, as well as the fleeting god of opportunity and favorable moments. I’m all about going with the flow in life, but in doing so I also believe it is a good skill to have to recognize opportunity and favorable moments. When these moments arise we must grab these opportunities by the locks to help achieve our goals.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
As far back as I can remember I have always been interested in the film industry. Even as a kid I remember staying up late with my mom watching horror films. As I became older I took more interest in learning more about film and photography. Throughout high school I attended video production classes to help gather skills and knowledge about the subject.
I give much thanks and appreciation to my teacher/counselor, Mr. Cunningham of Vilseck American High School, and Tony McKinney of AFN Bavaria the Eagle, for giving me the opportunity to intern at the local radio and television broadcast station in Vilseck Germany, where I graduated high school.
Once I moved back to America I decided to settle in Texas where I began to film music videos for local artist. Along the way I met Ebony AKA Moxie who introduced me to Asante of PRMTD. I began working with Asante filming live showcases and promotional content for local artists in Austin Texas.
At the end of 2020 I entered my first film festival for the music video portion, and to my surprise I had won a few awards, which I am very proud of. Since then I have continued to work with local artists, individuals, and businesses in the Austin area. Looking forward, I wish to continue working with locals and also expand my reach passed Austin to other states and countries.
I love to travel, and I have been to over 10 countries around the globe. At each stop I find ways to film, photograph, and or blog my journey for my audience and clients.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My main goal is just sharing something I love with the world. Being able to travel the world and experience different cultures, people, while filming, photographing, and blogging my way along to share my stories. I love motivating and inspiring people to travel and see what this magnificent world has to offer.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me the most rewarding thing is the love you get from your audience and peers. Being able to share great stories and memories, and seeing how people interpret and react to these things is cool. I really can live life happy knowing I have several outlets to express my visions and journeys with the world.
