Hi Jaycee, thanks for joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

In 2021, I founded Eastern NC Seamoss with a strong motivation to transform my body into a healthier and more vibrant version of myself. Seeking to improve my physical appearance, boost my overall well-being, and feel more energized, I made the decision to adopt a pescatarian diet, focusing on seafood and plant-based foods. As I delved into the world of nutrition, I discovered the incredible benefits of Seamoss, a sea plant rich in essential minerals essential for optimal bodily function. This newfound knowledge inspired me to launch my business, committed to sharing the transformative power of Seamoss with others looking to enhance their health and well-being.

I am the proud owner of a thriving Seamoss business that focuses on enhancing the health and wellness of individuals both inside and out. Through our innovative products such as SeaMoss Gel, Immune Therapy Gummies, Sea Face Serum, SeaMoss Lemonade, and SeaMoss On-The-Go Smoothies, we have been able to positively impact the lives of our customers. In just a short span of two years, we have received countless life-changing testimonials from individuals who have experienced the incredible benefits of our Eastern NC Seamoss products. It brings me great joy to be a part of this positive change in the lives of others and to witness the transformative effects of our products on their overall well-being.

Any advice for managing a team?

In the realm of business management and leading a team, I urge every small business owner to prioritize God above all else. Encouraging your team to do the same ensures that you rely on Him for ideas, sales, marketing, and customers. I have personally found immense blessings and prosperity by allowing God to lead and guide my team. I firmly believe that the key to success in any endeavor lies in putting God first and surrendering control to Him.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

My business partner is not only my fiancé, but also God. Having them by my side to run this business has been incredibly inspiring. Their presence motivates me to keep pushing forward, knowing that we can achieve anything we set our minds to. By prioritizing God in every decision we make for the business, we have been blessed with success. We believe in taking care of our bodies, as they are temples of God. Without the guidance and support of God and my fiancé, I would not have come this far in my business. I am grateful for their presence in my life and for having such a trustworthy and motivational partner.
