Hi Javonda, thanks for joining us today. Can you share a customer success story with us?
Since becoming a career transformation coach, I have had many customer success stories. My clients have transformed their careers from making $40K annually to $80K+ within 4+ months. All of my client stories are my favorite. However, the stories that generally send me on an emotional rollercoaster are related to working mothers who can increase their confidence to increase their salaries to provide the lifestyle they have imagined for their children.

My corporate career began in 2012. I started as a Staff Accountant in the corporate banking industry and navigated my career to an accounting manager. After 10 years in the Accounting and Finance industry, I successfully transformed my career brand and transitioned to the Technology world in 2022. During my career journey, I was able to identify who I was professionally, understand the value I possessed within my skills and knowledge, and build the confidence to set boundaries for a successful life/work balance. Navigating corporate, I have witnessed many career seekers, and team members struggle because they are unaware of their gifts, nor do they understand how to present their value in a standout manner. Because of this, I birthed Kinetic In Demand Solutions, also known as Kinetics, to help candidates go from overlooked to in-demand assets.
With over a decade of networking in corporate and learning the professional trends and what organizations value in a candidate, I was able to take this information and apply it to my career transformation process to create standout career profiles, including resumes, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, and branding biographies. Through Kinetics, I solve several professional problems career seekers experience. My services help clients build confidence to negotiate a salary that matches skills, create binge-worthy resumes and LinkedIn profiles that drive results, and identify ways to achieve a healthy life/work balance.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
My reputation has been built on trust with my clients, providing services to help them achieve results they did not believe were possible, and celebrating them and their hard work when their goals are accomplished. A small portion of my clients come from organic traffic; however, most of my business is based on word-of-mouth testimonies and referrals. I take pride in my customer’s experience and providing the best customer service because I want to ensure that each client is satisfied with their encounter with Kinetics.
As a career transformation coach, I am hands-on and active with every client. Once services are completed, the conversation on career growth does not end. I am available for questions, advice, resources, and more. With my experience and network, I am very knowledgeable in many career areas and industries, and I ensure my clients are informed and knowledgeable to be successful in their journey. As I continue to grow, I will remain trustworthy, provide services that drive results, and be present for my clients.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
My strategy to grow my clientele starts from the consultation. I always listen to the client’s needs initially and provide value in the areas they are struggling with. I do this because I want my prospects & future clients to understand the level of service and attention they will receive during our partnership. I also want them to know that I care about their career growth, am vested in their journey, and have the tools and knowledge to help them succeed.
