Javon, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think Corporate America gets wrong in your industry? Any stories or anecdotes that illustrate why this matters?

Well me personally, I own a rolling papers company and I noticed that being a black entrepreneur it’s harder to get my product in stores, dispensaries, smoke, shops, cigar lounges, etc. due to the color of my skin they don’t wanna let the black man in

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am the reggae/rap artist Mr. Stinky my brand of rolling papers and cones is Mr Stinky‘s all natural rolling papers. We also have hemp products, but we make sure we don’t have any pesticides are metals or harmful chemicals in our product because we care about cancer and breathing disorders, we want to be loved, and consumed by all Nations, and it seems to be very hard to find Distributors to buy and distribute the product but people love the product they say it’s even better than raw

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

To keep it real. I personally recommend that you get a real marketing company to help you find your audience or you pay for ads. Consult with Instagram and they have ways and tools to help you market, there’s about 14 major ways you can do it I chose about seven I executed it and now my Instagram has 62,000 followers organically and I’ am going viral right now with 2.6 million views in the last 22 days.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

When I was 14 years old my brother died in my arms, that night around 2:30 AM I remember him saying to me out of nowhere, “you don’t need me to be famous you’re going to be a star one day you’re going to be a famous rapper” he said, “ I’m showing you and telling you a part of your future” he died 30 minutes later. I have always kept that with me. keeping the torch burning. I am a person that has never been signed to a record label I put myself in this business. I have made a lot of money in this world. I have been on tour with bad boys and DEF jam. I’ve signed so many autographs did so many feature songs like my favorite song with me and Nipsey Hussle the lake great titled. Looking Good. Out of my rap group Vigalanty Squad I am the only rapper in the world with seven dead members in the group, and here I still stand gaining fans, God must have had a plan for me because, I definitely had one for myself.
