We were lucky to catch up with Jaszy Mango recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaszy , thanks for joining us today. Are you able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen?

It truly has been one of the scariest decisions of my life and also at the same time one of the most rewarding experiences. To be able to live your dream and get paid for it and make a living is completely amazing and I am humbled. I thank God every single day. One of the major things I would tell everyone is ,just do it . Have the faith, believe in yourself and just do it. You have to put in the work. Nothing comes free. Make sure you set your goals. Have a vision board,stay steadfast and out of your head.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Literally, my why is my family. God gives me the strength every day to keep going, even when it seems impossible. I feel like I’m living in a dream ,but it’s honestly my reality. I have seen this vision for my life since I was a little girl, even though I have so much more to go. This journey has been super amazing and I’m not stopping anytime soon. I want my fans, clients ,followers to all know that my main goal is to make a difference in the lives of people that look like me. My Purpose is to let everyone know dreams are reachable and achievable with hard work and dedication.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding thing as a creative is seeing something you imagined in a dream come to reality. To see something that you never thought could happen ,happen multiple times. To watch yourself on the television screen with millions of viewers. To be able to speak to the college youth about financial wealth and educate them for their futures . As a Realtor to be able to sell somebody a home that thought they would never own. I guess what I’m trying to say is all my dreams are coming true and that’s the most rewarding part.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

This honestly is a funny question to me because I feel like I pivot on a daily basis. Nothing ever is going to go the way you expected itbto go. If you asked me, I would’ve been a famous singer by now. Even though I still do make music. Acting brought me the opportunity to be able to do so many more things. Acting was able to open doors for me that now I can use to still pursue my music. Real Estate has always been a passion of mine. Now I’m Selling, Buying and Investing not only for myself but I’m helping others do the same. Pivoting is just a part of life. I look at it this way, there’s many ways to reach the same goal so don’t get discouraged. Just try another route. .
