Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jasper Rose. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jasper, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of our favorite things to brainstorm about with friends who’ve built something entrepreneurial is what they would do differently if they were to start over today. Surely, there are things you’ve learned that would allow you to do it over faster, more efficiently. We’d love to hear how you would go about setting things up if you were starting over today, knowing everything that you already know.
I am so grateful for the journey I’ve been on these past few years and have no regrets over the many business and life decisions I’ve made, as they’ve all shaped me into somebody I am proud to be today. That being said, things could have been so much more fun and easy if I had just allowed them to be! In the beginning I had all sorts of limiting beliefs, some conscious and some unconcious, such as:
“Starting a business is hard”
“I have to invest a lot of money into my business before I start seeing returns”
“I will have to work long hours and give up free time in the beginning years”
“I’m too young, nobody will take me seriously”
“People are watching and judging me”
“My income directly correlates to how much time I work”
“Getting clients is hard”
“Setting my prices is a huge deal that I must stress over”
“I have to be on all the social medias and have a big following”
“Getting a part time job means I’ve failed and everyone will know”
“I have to be in my masculine energy all the time”
“What I have to offer probably isn’t that valuable since it comes easy to me”
….and the list goes on. I’m so happy to report that none of these thoughts are actually true, unless you believe them! The more I ditch these old beliefs and embrace the truth that my business is fun, easy, has a huge positive impact and is effortlessly profitable, the more true it becomes.
Here are the two main things I would tell my old self when she was first starting out:
#1: “It’s okay to get a part time job.” During my first official year in business, I felt that I had something to prove and that if I didn’t find a way to make my business wildly profitable immediately, that it meant I was a failure. Sure, this mindset may have granted me some fear-motivated determination to make it happen at all costs, but the stress and desperation were not worth it. And to be honest, it didn’t even pay off. I hardly made any money that year and even went into debt.
It was only once I surrendered and allowed money to come to me through other avenues that my business took off. I attribute this to the facts that I was no longer constantly stressed about where my next money would come from, the confidence I gained from earning more money and having proof that it was possible, and that I now could afford to have some fun and experiment with my business without worrying about profitability first and foremost. Desperation is a client repellant; they can sense it! When you’re having worry-free fun, they will naturally feel safe around you.
So my advice is, don’t put your brand-new business under the pressure of paying your bills if you can help it. Aim to find a flexible, low-stress side gig that helps you keep the lights on and leaves you with enough time and energy to experiment with your business as well.
#2: “Focus on spreading your message and helping people, rather than profit.” Of course this one is very nuanced, and there are definitely baby entrepreneurs out there who focus a little too much on the helping part and not the profit and end up running an under-funded charity instead of a business. This is so common in my industry, especially women who have spiritual businesses yet feel bad about charging for their services. They end up burning themselves out which results in them not being able to help anyone at all.
That being said, the other extreme of refusing to do anything without the guarantee of an immediate profit is equally unsustainable. An entrepreneurial mindset is knowing that your time/energy do not directly correlate to your income.
Focus on giving away as much helpful information for free as possible/feels good. It’s a common worry that people won’t buy from you if you educate them too much for free, but it’s not true. People need to feel like they know you and trust you in order to feel safe buying from you, so put yourself out there and spread your message! I often host free events both in-person and online. In the end this is actually how I get many of my paying clients, even though my goal is just to share my passion with as many people as possible!
A few other words of advice I have would be to keep things as simple as possible when starting out. Research just enough to be able to take the first few steps and then figure the rest out as you go. You are more ready right now than you realize. Challenge the thoughts that feel constricting and depressing, they probably aren’t true and there are solutions. Take care of your health, without it nothing else matters. Help others and let others help you.

Jasper, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
As an energy worker and brain trainer, I help people transform their quality of life by freeing the body and mind from trapped, stagnant emotions (energy) and limiting beliefs and replacing them with empowering, positive ones.. This career path came naturally to me through my passions for health, neuroscience, quantum physics, spirituality, and the desire to share my knowledge and gifts with everybody who seeks them.
What I love about my work is that I’ve taken the best parts of the many modalities in which I’ve studied and been trained, and combine them with my unique gifts and intuition to create a powerful, rapid, beautiful process that produces mind-blowing results every time.
I currently offer private coaching and reiki energy healing sessions, both in-person and distance. I also regularly host free group hypnosis and other types of events, and we have some new offerings coming in 2024!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
A few things, but overall, just being myself! I embody what I teach and let life be as flowy and beautiful as it’s meant to be, so it’s easy for people to be drawn to me. I think it’s also that I am able to explain spiritual concepts through a scientific lens, and vice versa which has gotten many skeptics on board with my work. The last thing is that my clients’ results speak for themselves. It’s routine for a new client’s friends and family to hire me immediately after seeing their loved one’s results from even just one session with me.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
My number one source of new clients, which I discovered completely by accident, is hosting free/low-cost events. Nothing has worked quite like just getting a group together and doing some sort of workshop or demonstration that gives a lot of value and allows people to sample the experience of working with me. That being said, here’s something important: I don’t host events with the goal of getting clients, as this would lead to me determining the success of the event based on how many clients were made (which can’t be assessed immediately anyways as some people take their time before making the decision), and these sorts of expectations have a high probability of resulting in disappointment.
Instead I focus on having as much fun as possible while giving people a memorable and valuable experience that leaves everybody feeling better than they came. It just so happens that this naturally makes people want to work with me.
