We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jason Wiest. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jason below.
Hi Jason, thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?
I came up with this clothing brand called Eaz Clothing. I was always into fashion and clothes so I one day decided to make my own brand called Eaz Clothing. It’s mainly a streetwear vibe type of style, but you can mix and match with any outfit or style you want. I made this brand because i had a vision on the clothes I would think people would want and like. My favorite part of this journey is honestly the process of coming up with the idea of a design then seeing the process it takes from an idea to pen to paper sketching out ideas then ultimately coming out with a design. Then the process on the design going onto the clothes. makes this whole process worth it in the end and seeing people wear it that’s what it’s all about to me.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I got into the clothing business, because i wanted to put my own vision on my clothes. I enjoyed everyday since I started this brand. It made me worked harder and made me realized that if you have a dream or goals no matter what it is. You can achieve them with hard work and staying with the process and believing in yourself. You can achieve your goals no matter how big or small the goal is. It takes time but you will see the progress of knocking down goals you set for yourself that’s the beauty of the process, seeing where you first started to where it is now and just always trying to find ways to improve the brand and keeping growing it. Some of my favorite things about this process is when we have pop ups. That’s where we can connect with people and expand our following and its really cool to see the people supporting us. we throw pop ups in Kansas City which is where we are located at but also we have done pop ups in different cities like Denver many times and chicago. few others and those are really cool to see new people supporting Eaz Clothing.
Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?
One of favorite story about our brand was when we first did our first pop up outside of Kansas City. I decided I wanted to try to reach out to new people and for them to see our clothing brand we were new brand trying to get our name out there. So I decided that we should try Denver Colorado. I didn’t know how it would turned out but it was the best experience i could’ve imagine. It turned out better than we expected a ton of people came out and supported us. And bought so many clothes we sold out by the end of the day. and that’s when i knew this was worth it and keep the brand going and keep believing in the process. And we couldn’t thank all those people enough for there support.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal is just keeping making this company bigger and keep getting new supports and hopefully one day get our own store. That’s our goal and we won’t stop believing in that goal. We would love to have our own store that would be the biggest goal for our brand and hopefully with all our this hard work and the wonderful and endless support from everyone we will get there one day soon.
