Alright, Jason thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So, let’s start with trends – what are some of the largest or more impactful trends you are seeing in the industry?

Some of the biggest trends in the media industry Is the ability for anyone to create viral social media content. Nowadays it’s easy to make a living in media production as long as you have some type of work ethic, a smart phone with a decent camera, and any free video or picture editing app.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

At a very young age I have been interested in media arts and creative writing. Narrative story writing and writing poetry was a Hobby I grew to love since grade school. Winning numerous of school writing contest and also getting some poetry work published. After time served in the military I moved back to Birmingham Alabama searching for a new career. Years of bouncing around to various jobs, living pay check to pay check, and dreading to clock in to work gave me the strength to take the leap of faith and go into business for myself.. With the growth of social media and the possibility of become a millionaire just from YouTube views motivated me to buy a camera and learn and become a freelance videographer. My early career as a videographer beginning in 2015 was all self taught and trail and error. Learning most of what I knew about camera operating and video/photo editing from YouTube tutorials. In 2020 I enrolled at Full Sail University in Orlando FL. Under the TV & Film production program.. Graduated with a 3.8 GPA in 2021. I am currently enrolled at Full Sail for a bachelor degree in Digital Cinematography. Since buying my first camera in 2015 I have accomplished a lot of things that I’m very proud of. I have worked with and provided media content for small and big businesses as well as provided media services for public figures and celebrities in different parts of the US. Love & Hip Hop ATL. Major League Baseball affiliates, Rolling Out Studios magazine and TV studios just to name a few. Today business had grown into 8 different States where I provide professional media service such as Photography, Videography, and Video Editing. Use mostly by clients as YouTube and social media content. Or podcast for websites and radio. I believe the passion I have for creating quality work and providing professional and up-to-date media services at reasonable pricing with quick completion times makes my brand stand out from some others.. Having the knowledge, equipment, and creative skill makes my company a go to for Media services.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I built a audience on social media mainly from recording and editing sports highlights and sports action photography. Sports is huge in my city and State and sports media get a lot of traffic and views. Leading to more clients and more work and opportunities.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

What I think help my reputation within the media production market is providing quality work at reasonable pricing and in a timely manner. Social media is where majority of content creators share their work because that is where the creators audience is. Being consistent in my career has boost my reputation in media production.
