We recently connected with Jason Allen Wear and have shared our conversation below.
Jason , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
Honestly, If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t change a thing as far as timing goes when I started my creative career. I wholeheartedly believe I began at the perfect moment when I was most ready to dive into the wild ride of acting, directing, and filmmaking.
Before jumping in, I was busy exploring life, learning more about myself, as well as understanding human emotions. This gave me a rich reservoir of experiences to draw from. Starting sooner might have meant less maturity, and starting later might have meant missing out on early opportunities and connections.
Looking back, I feel the timing was just right. It allowed me to bring a unique voice and perspective to my projects, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
For those who may not have heard about me before, let me introduce myself. I’m Jason Allen Wear, a Texas native and I’m deeply passionate about the world of filmmaking. My journey into this creative industry has been shaped by a diverse background and a commitment to storytelling.
Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to produce and direct several exciting projects, including “In A Fit Of Rage” starring Lora L. Ebadian and “Pretty Ugly” featuring Joel Clarke. Before these, I also worked on a series pilot called R.G.T.V. with Royal Goblin Films. These experiences have been incredibly rewarding and have allowed me to collaborate with some amazing talents. While these are some of my most recent projects, I’ve worked on many different ones throughout my career. I started as a film actor and progressed into writing, directing, cinematography, editing and much much more.
My production company, Impact Entertainment, specializes in producing a wide range of content. We create everything from branded content for our clients to short narratives, documentaries, and feature films. What sets us apart is our dedication to delivering high-quality, compelling stories that resonate with audiences.
Interestingly, my 25+ years in the construction field have significantly influenced my approach to production. Through my company, Impact Contracting LLC, I’ve honed skills in project management, problem-solving, and efficient resource management. These skills seamlessly translate to the world of filmmaking, where coordinating different elements and meeting tight deadlines are crucial.
One thing I’m particularly proud of is how my background has allowed me to bring a unique perspective to my creative work. Whether it’s overseeing a construction project or ensuring the narrative flow of a film, my diverse experiences help me tackle challenges with a practical and innovative mindset.
For those looking to follow my journey, you can find me on Instagram @JasonAllenWearActor, as well as on Facebook and TikTok. I’m committed to sharing my passion for storytelling and engaging with my audience through these platforms.
What I want potential clients, followers, and fans to know is that at Impact Entertainment, we are dedicated to crafting stories that matter. We strive to create content that not only entertains but also inspires and connects with people on a deeper level. Our mission is to bring unique voices and perspectives to the forefront, and I’m excited to continue this journey with all of you.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Absolutely, there is a clear goal driving my creative journey. At the heart of it, I aim to leave a legacy for my grandson, Treyson, and any future grandchildren. I want them to always remember me and be inspired to explore their own creative sides. If I can be the one who sparks that journey for them, then I’ve conquered my mission. I believe you can achieve anything you set your mind to, and I hope my work shows that.
But, my mission goes beyond personal legacy. I want to show people that creativity has no boundaries and that unique voices matter. Whether through Impact Entertainment or Impact Contracting LLC, I strive to be a testament to the power of determination and passion.
Ultimately, I want to inspire others to pursue their dreams and believe in themselves. By sharing my journey, I hope to motivate others to realize they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the connections I make with people. Whether it’s being stopped on the street by someone I grew up with who wants to hear about my latest project, receiving a message from someone telling me I inspired them to try something new, being thanked by a client for a job well done, or hearing from a fan who saw me on the big screen, these moments are incredibly fulfilling. This dream hardly seems real, but it is. I’m grateful for the life I’m creating for myself and my family. Life is short, and I believe we have to do our part to bring people together with the time we have.
