Jasmyn , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.

Just having the passion alone for natural hair came to me when I cut my own hair. I wore a perm or relaxer all my life until I decided to cut it all off. I wouldn’t do anything different knowing what I know now…

The most important skill to have is being a people person. Having a positive attitude throughout the clients experience is key. I created a booking link through a third party system thinking it would help me build clientele. Temporary clients come and go from my experience on the booking system.

Hair is fun, I love my clients most of them are entrepreneurs like myself so we vibe off each other well. I enjoy solving my clients hair problems.. ensuring them to follow a healthy hair plan. I carry products in my salon for customers and clients to shop or give as gifts..I’m most proud of my professionalism in the industry.
