Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jasmine & Vlad Levine. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Jasmine & Vlad thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
We learned to do what we do through years of dedication and by immersing ourselves in our passions. Vlad’s expertise in photography was shaped by hands-on experience, endless experimentation, and a genuine love for capturing moments. Jasmine’s personal styling skills were honed through networking, working closely with clients, and continuously learning about fashion trends.
Looking back, we could have sped up our learning process by seeking out mentors earlier in our careers and attending more specialized workshops. Collaborating with other professionals and sharing knowledge might have given us more diverse insights.
The most essential skills for us have been creativity, communication, attention to detail, and adaptability. Vlad’s eye for composition and Jasmine’s knack for understanding personal styles have shaped our unique offerings at The Lightroom Studio.
As for obstacles, sometimes finding the right balance between our artistic vision and practical business needs was challenging. We also faced difficulties in sourcing the perfect vintage furniture that defines our space, but those challenges only made us more determined and fueled our creativity. Our love for what we do has always guided us, turning obstacles into opportunities to learn and grow.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
We are Vlad and Jasmine Levine, the minds behind The Lightroom Studio in Dallas, TX. Our main business revolves around offering our uniquely designed studio space on an hourly basis, providing a warm and inviting environment filled with vintage furniture, each piece with its story.
Alongside the studio rental, we also offer our personal services in this space. Vlad, with his expertise in photography and videography. Jasmine, a personal stylist, helps clients find their perfect style, making them feel confident and unique.
What truly sets us apart is not just our services but the relationships we build. We’ve created a family-owned venue that treats clients as friends, and our commitment to authenticity and creativity is evident in everything we do.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For us, the most rewarding aspect of being creatives is the ability to connect with people through our art and space. We love bringing visions to life and seeing the joy and confidence it instills in those we work with. It’s about more than just a service; it’s creating lasting memories and relationships.
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
In reflecting on our creative journey, knowing about the SCORE Mentoring Program earlier would have been incredibly valuable. This program, which pairs budding entrepreneurs and creatives with experienced mentors, could have provided us with insights, guidance, and support that would have accelerated our growth and helped us overcome challenges in our artistic and business pursuits. It’s a resource we highly recommend to others embarking on their creative paths.
