We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jasmine Mejia Correa. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jasmine below.
Jasmine , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
I hope to build a legacy of impact, connection, and empowerment. I want to be remembered as someone who poured love into everything she did—whether it was helping women feel confident in their skin, creating spaces where people felt seen and supported, or simply showing up with kindness and authenticity.
I hope people say that I made them feel beautiful, not just on the outside but in their hearts. That I was someone who believed in them, who encouraged them to chase their dreams, and who reminded them of their worth when they forgot.
I want to be remembered for my passion, my resilience, and my ability to bring people together. That even in the toughest moments, I found light and shared it with others. That I left the world a little brighter, a little softer, and a little more full of love.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Jasmine Lucia, and I wear many hats—esthetician, small business community builder, content creator, and podcaster. At the heart of everything I do is a deep passion for helping people feel confident, connected, and empowered in their journeys, whether that’s through skincare, entrepreneurship, or personal growth.
I got into the aesthetics industry because I’ve always been fascinated by the transformative power of skincare—not just on the surface, but in how it can make someone feel about themselves. After years of working in the beauty industry, I took a break, but my love for the craft never left me. Now, with Haus of Aesthetic Med Spa, I’m back, offering medical-grade facials and customized skincare solutions to help people achieve healthy, radiant skin.
Beyond skincare, I’m also deeply passionate about community building and supporting women in business. Through my content and my podcast, I create spaces where entrepreneurs—especially small business owners—can feel inspired, gain valuable insights, and connect with like-minded individuals. I know firsthand how tough it can be to build something from the ground up, so I use my platforms to uplift others, share knowledge, and foster genuine connections.
What sets me apart is my holistic approach—I don’t just focus on one aspect of self-care or business; I bring everything together to help people grow, whether that’s in their confidence, their career, or their personal development. I believe in authenticity, in showing up as my full self, and in leading with both passion and purpose.
I’m most proud of the impact I’ve had—the clients who feel more beautiful in their own skin, the small business owners who feel less alone, the conversations I’ve sparked through my podcast and content. At the end of the day, I want people to know that I’m here to support, uplift, and inspire. Whether you’re looking for skincare solutions, entrepreneurial guidance, or just a space where you feel seen and encouraged, I hope my work speaks to you and helps you on your journey.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building my audience on social media has been a journey of authenticity, consistency, and connection. When I first started, I wasn’t focused on numbers—I was focused on showing up as my true self, sharing valuable content, and building relationships with my community. I knew that if I led with passion and purpose, the right people would find me.
For me, social media isn’t just about promotion; it’s about creating a space where people feel inspired, supported, and seen. As an esthetician, content creator, podcaster, and small business community builder, I use my platforms to share skincare knowledge, business insights, and real-life experiences. I engage with my audience, listen to their needs, and always aim to provide value—whether it’s through educational posts, behind-the-scenes moments, or heartfelt conversations.
My advice for anyone just starting out is this: be consistent, be patient, and be yourself. You don’t need to have the perfect aesthetic or go viral overnight. What truly builds an engaged audience is showing up with honesty, sharing what you’re passionate about, and connecting with people in a genuine way. Speak to the people who need your message, not just to the algorithm. And most importantly, don’t be afraid to evolve and try new things—your journey is yours to shape.
Your audience will grow as you grow, so focus on impact over numbers. Serve your community with intention, and the rest will follow.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was the idea that everyone would support me—or that I needed their support to keep going. When I first started my journey as an esthetician, content creator, and small business community builder, I expected that the people closest to me would be my biggest cheerleaders. But the reality was, some stayed silent, some didn’t understand my vision, and others simply weren’t as invested in my success as I had hoped.
At first, that was hard to accept. I questioned myself, wondering if I was on the right path. But over time, I realized that my purpose wasn’t tied to who was clapping for me—it was tied to the impact I was making, the passion I poured into my work, and the people who genuinely resonated with what I was building.
The truth is, not everyone will support you, and that’s okay. The most important thing is that you keep showing up, keep creating, and keep believing in yourself. Your dreams don’t require approval from anyone but you. And for every person who stays silent, there are so many others who are watching, learning, and being inspired by your journey—even if they never say it out loud.
So my advice? Keep being you. Keep moving forward, even when the applause is quiet. Because the right people—the ones who truly see and appreciate your light—will always find you.
