We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jasmine Jonte a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jasmine , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I was walking my dog along the Pacific Ocean when I decided to shut it all down. It being my various business pursuits – my coaching programs and my masterminds. It just wasn’t working, and I was tired of hustling to make it work.
But this wasn’t just a “give up” moment. I honestly felt like I’d done what I could to reach the magical place where the business is happy and growing. I’d invested in everything from “scale your business” programs to energy work.
So I surrendered to the well-what-the-heck-is-next feeling and closed shop. It was one of the most aligned decisions I’ve ever made. Despite not knowing where my next paycheck was coming from, I felt peace. And in trusting that intuitive hit, I created space for my current business that lights me up!
I now lead a Done For You Course Creation Agency. We help experts create world-class learning experiences that increase repurchase rates and lower refunds. Meaning, we build the course and lesson outlines, the slide decks, the deliverables, course portals and more. All our experts do is show up, talk to us, and then record training videos. We’re basically online program ghostwriters.
I didn’t realize this was my calling until I gave myself the opportunity to let go of what wasn’t working. It was in that space that I realized why none of my prior offers scaled… I kept inventing new programs because creating was what I loved the most. So when I stopped focusing on creating and began focusing on scaling, I lost the joy that made business fun!
While I didn’t know that this service would work, I knew it was a huge problem for experts. They don’t have the 100+ hours to dedicate to building an amazing program, and while they’re a master of their subject matter, they don’t typically know how to create a step-by-step process that allows their students to get results without requiring any of their 1:1 time.
We’re busier than ever, and I’m so grateful for the chance to impact people around the world in creating their dreams as students inside of the programs we create!

I lead a Done-For-You Course Creation agency. We are based in Phoenix, but have clients around the world. We help experts turn braindumps into world-class programs!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I prioritize my clients above sales and marketing. It’s simple, but so important. As small business owners, we’re can get caught on the income rollercoaster, and it’s easy to value prospecting over clients.
While this might not be right for every business, in my world, the clients always come first. It has a fun effect on sales too, because when a prospect see that we walk that overdeliver-always walk they want to work with us even more.
This is why our Net Promoter Score is a 9.5, and we’re completely referral-based as of this moment. In the service industry, nothing goes as far as an amazing client experience.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Gratitude.
My team is exceptional. I love them to bits. We’re a small, growing company, yet their loyalty to our mission just makes me beam. And I think it comes down to gratitude. I have little rituals and routines during the week that show them I’m grateful for them, like calling out what’s amazing on a slide deck design. However, I also know what motivates them on a larger scale by doing things like personality testing and an exercise called The Appreciation Equation. (Email me if you’d like a link to that.)
