I believe success is rooted in a blend of purpose, passion, and perseverance. My motto, “She who walks with purpose and leads with passion,” is a guiding principle not just for my business, but for life itself.

For me, success begins with having a clear vision. When I started She Beauty, I wasn’t just opening a beauty business—I was building a brand that would inspire confidence and empowerment. It’s essential to set goals and remain intentional in everything you do. Purpose is what gets you started, but passion is what keeps you going when things get tough.

One example of this is my current work on expanding She Beauty to offer booth rentals. This project isn’t just about growth; it’s about creating opportunities for other beauty professionals to build their dreams within the She Beauty community. For me, success is as much about empowering others as it is about achieving my own goals.

Looking ahead, I envision even greater opportunities for She Beauty, including potential expansions into new markets like Beverly Hills. These future plans remind me that success is a continual journey of growth and adaptability.

Lastly, resilience is everything. Challenges are inevitable, but they’re also opportunities in disguise. As someone who loves the peace and beauty of Guntersville’s lake life, I’ve learned the value of stepping back and regaining perspective. Just like the stillness of the water after a storm, success often comes when you stay the course, even when things feel uncertain.

Jasmine, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m Jasmine Jamison, the proud owner of She Beauty & She Exclusive. My entrepreneurial journey began at 21 with my first boutique, Tease Boutique with my best friend and business partner Teleah Holder. We didn’t know where to start, but we had a vision and stuck with it no matter what obstacles we faced. After a year, I transitioned Tease Boutique to an online model to cut overhead costs and rebranded it as She Exclusive, an online women’s boutique.

When I discovered my interest for lash extensions, it opened the door to something even bigger. I launched She Beauty to focus on enhancing natural beauty, offering expert lash extensions and brow services such as microblading, brow tinting, and brow waxing. Around the same time, I revived She Exclusive as a storefront right next door, blending my love for fashion and beauty into a seamless brand experience.

What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to quality and connection. We don’t just provide services—we create transformations. Clients trust us to deliver personalized attention, whether they’re getting ready for a special event or investing in self-care. My motto, “She who walks with purpose and leads with passion,” reflects everything I strive to bring to my clients and the community.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come—from navigating challenges as a young business owner to building a brand that uplifts others. Today, She Beauty is expanding to offer booth rentals, creating opportunities for other beauty professionals to thrive in a supportive environment. Can you open up about how you funded your business?

Funding my businesses has been a journey of hard work, determination, and adaptability. My first boutique, Tease Boutique, was opened using money I earned bartending and working a 9-5. No matter where I worked I knew exactly where I was going if I remained focused and kept my faith.

Fast forward to today, I’ve grown into running two thriving businesses, while still keeping a strong work ethic. In addition to managing my businesses, I work with my business partner, Teleah Holder, at her company, Southern Sparkle Cleaning Company. This balance reflects a reality many of us face: in today’s economy, success often demands multiple income streams and consistent effort.

Every step of my journey, from bartending to balancing multiple roles, has shaped my approach to entrepreneurship. It’s not always easy, but the sense of independence and pride I feel knowing I’ve built everything from the ground up is worth every challenge.

For anyone aspiring to start a business, I want to emphasize the importance of believing in yourself, staying adaptable, and not being afraid to work hard to fund your dreams. Success doesn’t come overnight, but with passion and persistence, it’s absolutely possible to achieve.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been a combination of personal connections, reputation building, and delivering exceptional results. The foundation of my growth has been referrals—when happy clients share their experiences with friends, family, and colleagues. There’s nothing more powerful than having your work speak for itself through genuine recommendations.

Beyond referrals, consistency in quality and service has been key. By ensuring every client feels valued and leaves with results they love, I’ve created a loyal customer base that continues to grow organically. Pairing that with a strong social media presence and showcasing my work online has helped attract new clients who trust the feedback and experiences of others.

This blend of trust, reputation, and authenticity has been instrumental in expanding both She Beauty and She Exclusive.
