I believe the education system needs to incorporate financial literacy and practical life skills into the core curriculum. Students should graduate with a solid understanding of how to manage their finances, file taxes, and plan for the future. This knowledge is crucial for a fulfilling life and career, yet it’s often overlooked in traditional education. By integrating these subjects early on, we can empower students to make informed decisions and avoid common financial pitfalls.

The primary problem I solve for my clients is the complexity and anxiety surrounding tax planning and financial management. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of the unique challenges that content creators and entrepreneurs face. Unlike traditional accountants, I tailor my strategies to the specific needs of my clients, ensuring that they’re not just compliant, but also positioned for long-term financial success. My approach is holistic, focusing on the bigger picture of wealth accumulation and protection, rather than just ticking boxes at tax time.
I’m most proud of the impact I’ve made in helping clients navigate the often overwhelming world of taxes and financial planning. My work has not only saved clients significant amounts of money ($6M+), but it has also empowered them to take control of their financial futures. Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
My journey started in 1999 when my mom made the brave decision to move our family from Iran to the U.S. in search of a better future. This leap, which included a brief stay in India, made us the first Persian family to receive U.S. visas from India in nearly 20 years.
Growing up in Orange County, CA, our migration story taught me resilience early on. At 16, while working at In-N-Out Burger, I launched a small tax business. My decade at In-N-Out instilled lessons in dedication and service, even helping to open new locations.
In 2017, while teaching ESL online, I noticed self-employed educators struggling with tax issues. This led me to create a Facebook group that quickly grew to 15,000 members, marking the beginning of my focus on tax education for entrepreneurs. Over time, I became an Enrolled Agent and a certified Main Street Pro Tax Advisor, driven by a passion for guiding clients through complex financial landscapes.
My specialization in tax strategy for content creators continued to grow when a childhood friend who became a YouTube icon and needed increasing amounts of my help to reduce tax burdens and manage the overall financial facets of the growing business. Being able to effectively mitigate 100’s of thousands of dollars in taxes for these types of clients made me quickly get more involved in assisting in the true crisis that exists for creators and entrepreneurs related to their business affairs and overall financial success. One thing is for sure, they are seriously overpaying in taxes! This experience deepened my understanding of creators’ needs, allowing me to develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities and support their growth.
Today, I share my knowledge through speaking engagements and courses, and my work has led to a collaboration with Kevin Harrington of Shark Tank. This recognition highlights the impact of my efforts to simplify taxes for entrepreneurs.
At the heart of my journey is my role as a single parent to my son, Tarek. Balancing entrepreneurship with parenting drives me to secure his future and continually strive for success.
