We recently connected with Jasmine Deane and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Jasmine thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
Going for your goals is the biggest risk you can take! Making the decision to start The Good Life Charcuterie was terrifying, it’s been the best thing. I remember asking so many questions like- “what will people think?” and “what if I fail”?
I tell people to push through that fear. I’ve learned a lot and not all days are great but, starting this business has changed my life. I’m able to be creative, meet the most amazing clients, and create beautiful work for them.

Jasmine, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I believe that The Good Life Charcuterie has been in the works for ten years. Although it seems as if it has grown exponentially in the last two years, I’ve had to overcome a lot. From imposter syndrome and not believing in myself to overcoming depression, it’s been a lot. I had to truly grow and believe in myself in order to have a thriving business, Especially during Covid. However I don’t regret a thing, I’ve learned a lot and I hope I inspire young women that they can do ANYTHING they imagine. I come from very humble beginnings and I thank god for my journey every single day.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I truly believe that being your authentic self to your audience. Remember your audience is drawn to your persona. Be consistent on social media. It’s okay to start Small and grow organically.
