We recently connected with Jasmine Cherelle and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, thanks for joining us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?

As a service based business I have learned that your customer service skills and your clients are what makes your business successful. Every client I come across whether they purchase or not I treat them as if they are already a client. I have given away free services and have gone above an beyond to help clients by doing research or referring them to another business owner who can help them to get them to that next level in business or weight loss goal. As a result that client not only feels as if they are just a regular client of your business but you are building relation with them that keeps them coming back and doing that they become a loyal client and starts referring thier friends, family and other business professionals that they know to you.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I am Jasmine Cherelle and I am a young entrepreneur, graphic designer and body contourist in Tulsa Oklahoma. Growing up I watched my mother and grandmother as business owners and watching them I knew i wanted to own my own business one day but didn’t know exactly what business at the time. I started out working in the healthcare field because i knew my purpose was helping people and I knew I could do that in that field but I knew I didn’t want to do it forever. I’m a very creative person in the arts section so I started with creating my own clothing brand called Crowned Clothing and Apparel that I started in 2020 and it was very successful I learned a lot during that time the good and the bad and while it was successful I was doing my own social media graphics and contents and even created my own logo. Others began coming to me to create their content and that was the beginning of Jasmine Cherelle Graphic & Designz. Creating logos and graphic content for other business owners I make it easier for them to focus more on the business and not have to worry about the arts part of it because I know some of us don’t have the creative gene in us and which makes it harder. Even though my prices are lower than other graphic designers I decided to do it this because I know starting a business is already hard enough trying to purchase the essential things you need and because I understand and value my customers I work with their budget to make it suitable for their specific budget and even throw in some extra freebies. Revenge Body Bar began in 2021 when doing covid i focused more on my health and bettering my body while being in the house and not able to work out and came across Body Contouring and how it was helping people losing stubborn fat that they couldn’t get rid of with exercise and dieting or enhance certain areas also. I was having that problem in a certain part of my body and thought why not try it and doing it I seen results and was offered to take the class to start a business of my own and I thought it was a great idea because it wasn’t well know in Oklahoma but more in Texas and Atlanta and it would be a better way to save money and a more non invasive and natural way to lose weight without the pain of surgery. Revenge Body Bar is helping people reach weight loss goals with laser lipolysis which targets the stubborn fat in your body, especially in the stomach area where we all have problems with. It is laser energy heats the fat cells, liquefying them and making them easy to remove through the smaller cannulas. The laser also improves the treatment-area skin, causing it to tighten and conform to the body’s new contours. Can you open up about how you funded your business?

Being a beginner and first time business owner I funded my business with my full time job by creating a budget of how much I needed to start my business and to be able to purchase everything I needed for my business. This way helped me because I didn’t want to create debt and repay back loans to creditors and all the money I made will be funded fully back into my business. This also helped because if something didn’t work out I wouldn’t have to worry about how to get the money to repay back what was loaned to me.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

When marketing your business if have to think where will be the best place to target your audience and right now and especially during covid social media was the best place to find your audience and convert them to customers. I built my social media following by doing giveaways and drawings where they had to share and follow the page to be entered. Aldo by creating different kind of content whether it is informational post or videos about your business and how it can help them, telling about your story and how you can help them. Having current customer leave reviews and having a referral program for a discount. My best advice is start with is first finding out your target customers and figure out what they would like and start with a giveaway or drawing for either a free service or product to get your audience excited and get others involved and then find what is trending at the moment and create content around it.
